• Click on the Drop-down menu and then click on "Change Exam Centre".
• Then click on the "Exceptional Circumstances" option.
• Write a convincing justification for the request to relocate the IIT JAM Exam centre. The reason for the change of JAM exam centre must be strong, and any medical certificate, police report, or other document can help.
• Pay the INR 500 processing fee.
• Then click on the submit button to complete the process.

• The IIT JAM 2025 entrance exam will be conducted on February 11th, 2025.
• Students must bring their IIT JAM 2025 admit card, as well as a valid ID proof with a photograph, to the IIT JAM exam centre.
• Registered students can download their IIT JAM 2025 admit card on January 8th, 2025 from JOAPS. Admit cards will not be sent to the candidates' address or email ID.
• Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to take the IIT JAM 2025 entrance examination.
• Students can change their IIT JAM 2025 exam centre location after submitting their JAM application during the correction period. They must use the JOAPS portal to submit the change request for the JAM centre.
• Candidates must arrive at their designated JAM 2025 exam centre at least one hour prior to the exam time.
• The IIT JAM organising committee is always focused on the first preference of the exam centre by the students while assigning exam locations. They are assigned to one of the three JAM exam centres that candidates select on the JAM application form.

Things to Remember at IIT JAM Exam centres

Candidates aspiring to appear for IIT JAM have to adhere to certain regulations at their respective exam centres.

• The candidate is advised to reach the IIT JAM exam centres at least 30 minutes early.
• They must carry an IIT JAM 2025 admit card, photo identity, and copies of passport-size photos.
• Any electronic devices such as calculators, electronic pens, etc will be confiscated
• Candidates won’t be able to carry any food items inside the exam centres.

Note: Students have to pay a processing fee and provide a valid reason for changing the location of the exam. On the other hand, the JAM organising committee cannot guarantee that candidates will be able to change their exam location or receive a refund of their processing fee.
