IIT JAM 2025 exam centres for the IIT Roorkee Zone have been announced. Candidates must indicate their preference for the IIT JAM exam centre on the application form. It should be noted that the exam authority will assign IIT JAM test centres on a first-come, first-served basis. As a result, candidates should complete the forms as soon as possible after reviewing the list of IIT JAM test centres. When a candidate selects the first IIT JAM exam centre , the zone is automatically selected based on the location of the centre in one of the eight zones. Following that, the candidates must select the second and third exam centres from the same zone.

Latest: IIT JAM exam 2025 will be conducted on February 2, 2025, and the JAM application form is available for registrations from September 3, 2024, to October 11, 2024.

When choosing an IIT JAM Exam Centre, students should keep the following tips in mind:

  • Choose a testing location that is close to your home or easily accessible by public transportation.
  • Check to see if the chosen exam centre also administers other exams on a regular basis.
  • Choose an exam centre which is in a good location and includes all of the necessary emergency safety precautions.
  • Choose a JAM exam centre that has a good reputation. This increases the likelihood of passing the IIT JAM exam in the proper environment.
  • Choose an exam centre that has successfully administered the IIT JAM exam in the past.

How to Change IIT JAM 2025 Exam Centre?

Students can change the location of their IIT JAM 2025 exam by following these steps:

  • Log in to the IIT JAM 2025 website.
  • Select "Change Exam Centre" from the drop-down menu.
  • Then select "Exceptional Circumstances" from the drop-down menu.
  • Write a compelling justification for relocating the IIT JAM Exam centre. The reason for changing the JAM exam location must be compelling, and any medical certificate, police report, or other document.
  • Pay the processing fee of INR 500.
  • Click the submit button to finish the process.

Before completing the IIT JAM 2025 Registration form, students should double-check the details of their preferred IIT JAM exam centre. Remember that the first IIT JAM Exam centre choice is critical because it determines the zone, and the other two exam centre options can only be selected from the same zone.

Important Instructions for IIT JAM 2025 Exam

Students can check the following important instructions for the IIT JAM 2025 Exam:

  • The IIT JAM 2025 entrance exam will be held on February 11th, 2025.
  • To the IIT JAM exam centre, students must bring their IIT JAM 2025 admit card as well as a valid ID proof with a photograph.
  • Registered students can access JOAPS to download their IIT JAM 2025 admit card on January 8th, 2025. Admit cards will not be mailed to candidates' addresses or email  ID.
  • No candidate will be permitted to take the IIT JAM 2025 entrance examination without an admit card.
  • After submitting their JAM application, students can change the location of their IIT JAM 2025 exam centre during the correction period. They must use the JOAPS portal to submit the JAM centre change request.
  • Candidates must arrive one hour before the exam time at their designated JAM 2025 exam centre.
  • When assigning exam locations, the IIT JAM organising committee always prioritises the students' first choice of exam centre. They are assigned to one of the three JAM exam centres chosen by candidates on the JAM application form.

Note: Students must pay a processing fee and provide a legitimate reason for changing exam locations. However, the JAM organising committee cannot guarantee that they will be able to change the exam location or receive a refund of their processing fee.
