Latest Update: NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 admit card three days before the exam as per the official notification. The expected date for the release of the JEE Main 2025 admit card is March 30 or 31, 2025. The NTA will release the JEE Main admit card 2025 for all the registered candidates who have successfully submitted the JEE Main application form 2025. Earlier, on March 20, 2025, the NTA released the JEE Main City slip 2025 to inform the candidates about the exam cities. To download the JEE Main 2025 admit card and city slip, the registered candidates will have to log into the candidates' dashboard using their application number and password. The JEE Main exam 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from April 2 to 9, 2025 for Papers 1 and 2 respectively.

When will the JEE Main 2025 be conducted?

The JEE Main 2025 exam will be conducted from January 22 to 30, 2025. Paper 1 will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025, whereas Paper 2 will be conducted on January 30, 2025. Both papers will be conducted in two shifts: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Shift 10 and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Shift 2).

General Category candidates are required to score a minimum of 95+ percentile score to get admission into NITs. For the reserved category candidates, 80+ percentile score is enough to get admission into NITs.

Can I change my JEE Mains exam centre 2025?

The option to change exam centres is a part of the JEE Main 2025 application form correction process which is conducted on the official website. No additional fee is charged for changing the exam centres for the JEE Main 2025 exam.

 

Is 75 criteria removed from the JEE Main 2025 exam?

No, the 75% eligibility criteria has not been removed for the JEE Main 2025 exam for the General category students. Candidates belonging to the general category have to secure 75% marks in class 12 for securing admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. However, candidates must keep in mind that they do not require 75% marks to appear for the JEE Mains 2025 exam.

Is mobile allowed in the JEE Mains exam?

Calculators, electronic/smartwatches, and mobile phones are electronic devices which are not allowed inside the JEE Main examination hall. Candidates, except those appearing for the B. Arch paper are not allowed to bring items such as paper, geometry box, or pencil box to the exam hall.

 

How many attempts for the JEE Mains exam?

There is no prescribed upper age limit for the JEE Main 2025 exam. Candidates can avail of attempts for 3 consecutive years after passing out from their school. Since the JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year, this signifies that the aspirants can avail 6 attempts for the JEE Main entrance exam.

 

What is the dress code for the JEE Main 2025 exam?
