MP Class 12 Geography Weightage 2026 : The Geography paper will be conducted for 70 marks, and the remaining 30 marks are allotted for the practical component. For the 70 marks theory paper, the high-weightage topics are from Unit 3, i.e., Primary Activities, Secondary Activities, Tertiary and Quaternary Activities, Transport and Communication, and International Trade, worth 17 marks, followed by Unit 3 again from the second part, i.e., Resources and Agriculture, Water Resources, Mineral and Energy Resources, and Planning and Sustainable Development in India, worth 12 marks. MP Class 12 Geography Question Paper Blueprint 2026

You must practice the model test papers every day so that you can learn about the question paper pattern and solve the questions easily. You can check out the updated question paper pattern from the pointers given below:

  • Question numbers 1 to 5 will consist of 28 objective-type questions in total. Each question will carry one mark.
  • Question No. 1 will contain six Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Question No. 2 will include six fill-in-the-blank questions.
  • Question No. 3 will consist of six True or False questions.
  • Question No. 4 will have five match-the-following questions.
  • Question No. 5 will include five questions requiring one-word or one-sentence answers.
  • From Question No. 6 to Question No. 13, there will be a total of eight questions, and each question will carry two marks.
  • From Question No. 14 to Question No. 17, there will be four questions, and each question will carry three marks.
  • Question No. 18 will consist of one question carrying four marks.
  • Questions No. 19 and 20 will be a map-based questions from the World Map, and they will carry five marks.
  • For visually impaired candidates, Question Nos. 19 and 20 (map work) will be replaced by five additional theoretical questions.
  • Each of these additional questions for visually impaired candidates will carry one mark and will be answered in one word or one sentence.
