Mumbai University M.Com Eligibility Criteria 2021

The candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by Mumbai University for admission to the M.Com

  • In order to secure admission in the M.Com course, the candidates must possess a B.Com/ B.Com Hons. from any recognized university with at least 55% marks.


  • Candidates should have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (B.A. in Economics) with a minimum of 50% marks.

  • Candidates who have a BBA, BBE, BBS, or BFIA degree can also apply for the M.Com course at Mumbai University, provided they have scored at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

Mumbai University M.Com Application Process 2021

Candidates can fill the Mumbai University application form either in online or offline mode for admission to the M.Com course:

Online Mode:-

The guidelines for filling up the MU M.Com Application form is mentioned below:-

  • First, candidates must visit the Mumbai University's official website.

  • Click on the student button and select the admission option.

  • For programme registration, click on "Click here for admission."

  • Then fill out the registration form with all the necessary information including name, contact details, and e-mail id.

  • Check the application form once before submitting

  • Then upload your latest colored photograph and signature (Dimension- 4.5cm*3.5 cm, Size- 20Kb to 50 KB) and all the supporting documents.

  • After that, submit your application form along with paying an application fee amount of Rs 1000/-.

Offline Mode:-

An offline application form can also be completed by submitting the completely filled application form along with a demand draft at the university admission office. An application sent after the last date of submission via speed post or any other means will not be accepted by the university.

A list of documents which are needed to be submitted at the time of M.Com admission is mentioned below:-

  • Graduation degree along with the mark sheet

  • Class 10th Certificate with its mark sheet

  • Class 12th Certificate with its mark sheet

  • Date of birth certificate (If available)

  • Transfer Certificate from last studied institute

  • Migration certificate

  • Valid Identification Proof- Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Pan Card, Passport, etc

  • Caste certificate

  • Income certificate (If Applicable)

Candidates will be selected through a merit list prepared based on the marks they have secured in their graduation. Every year, the university releases the merit list before admission for the candidates.
