How to Calculate CGPA in NBSE HSLC Result 2024?

By following the easy process, students can easily calculate the Nagaland Board Class 10th CGPA. Check out the steps given below to calculate your CGPA. Add grade points for all five subjects. Suppose, you get:

1. Subject 1 – 9 marks
2. Subject 2 – 8 marks
3. Subject 3 – 9 marks
4. Subject 4 – 8 marks
5. Subject 5 – 6 marks

Step 1: Add the grade points – 9+8+9+8+6 = 40

Step 2: Divide the sum by 5

Therefore, the CGPA is: 40/5 = 8

How to Convert CGPA into Percentage?

Besides calculating the CGPA, students can easily find out the CGPA. Simply, multiply the CGPA obtained above with a factor of 9.5.

Hence, if the CGPA is 8, then the percentage will be 8 x 9.5 = 76%.

NBSE HSLC Passing Marks 2024

NBSE prescribes the Nagaland Board HSLC passing marks 2024 as per which, students will have to secure a minimum of 33% in each subject to pass the exams. Students will have to appear for a total of 6 subjects which have internal assessments. Out of the maximum 100 marks, 80 marks will be for the theory paper and 20 marks will be for the internal assessments. The minimum passing mark out of 80 marks will be 27. In the internal assessments, students will have to score at least 6 marks.

NBSE HSLC Result Scrutiny 2024

If students are unhappy with their marks and want to scrutinize their answer sheets, they can follow the steps given below::

• The students can apply for re-scrutiny of answer scripts in any number of subjects.
• The application form will be available online.
• Students can submit the application form within 15 days after the publication of the result. Pay INR 500 per subject as the scrutiny fee. 
• The rescrutiny results will be declared within 40 days after the declaration of this result.
• The result will be sent to all registered schools. 
• Students can access the results by visiting the official website.

NBSE HSLC Compartment Exams 2024

For students who do not pass the main examination in the NBSE HSLC Result 2024, the Nagaland Board will hold an HSLC compartmental exam. Students will have another opportunity to pass an exam. They can take the exam by applying.

• NBSE HSLC Compartment Exam 2024 will be conducted in June 2024. 
• A candidate with Needs Improvement grades in 3(three) or fewer subjects is eligible to sit for the HSLC Compartmental Examination.
• Candidates have to apply online through the NBSE portal. The rate of fees is ₹600 per subject. 
• After the online application is submitted, the student will get a message to give their examination fee to the respective school. 
• The school/center after verifying the forms shall make the payment online. It should be submitted to the school/center from where their forms were verified
