Tamil Nadu NEET Cutoff 2024

Tamil Nadu NEET cutoff 2024 for General (Unreserved) category students is expected to range from 720 to 137 marks. Meanwhile, the cutoff for SC/ST/OBC (Reserved) category students will be between 136 and 107. Based on past years' trends, the cutoff percentile for the general category will be 50th, and for reserved category students, it will be 40th. 

The NEET 2024 cut off for Tamil Nadu signifies the idea marks or percentile required for admission into MBBS or BD courses. Admission into Medical colleges if Tamil Nadu is granted via AIQ and State Quota Counselling. The AIQ cutoff is released by MCC and the State Quota NEET cut off 2024 for MBBS in Tamilnadu is released via Selection Committee, DMER, Chennai. Once NEET Cutoff 2024 is released, the college-wise admission cutoff for Tamil Nadu will also be released at tnmedicalselection.net during Tamil Nadu Counselling 2024.

Types of Tamil Nadu NEET Cutoff 2024

In Tamil Nadu, BDS and MBBS seats are offered under the 15% All India Quota and 85% State Quota. The details of both are discussed below:

15% AIQ Quota: MCC will hold the counselling session online for admission of candidates under the 15% AIQ. This means 15% of the total seats in government colleges will be reserved for aspirants from all over India. The cutoff will mention the last rank for each category and the corresponding NEET marks at which admission will be granted.

85% State Quota: Tamil Nadu NEET cutoff 2024 for 85% state quota seats is conducted by DME, the competent authority. Separate cutoffs will be released for dental and medical colleges in the state. Under the state quota, 85% of the total government seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). The state cutoff will mention the NEET scores obtained, closing rank, and AIR.
