NIRF Overall Ranking 2025 LIVE Updates

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has released the NIRF College Rankings 2025 on September 4, 2025, on its official website. During the NIRF ranking process, colleges, educational institutions and universities across the country are ranked based on certain criteria. The ranks are given based on the teaching quality, research, graduation outcomes, outreach, and an overall perception of the colleges or universities. Last year, the top NIRF college rankings were bagged by Hindu College (score 74.47), Miranda House (score 73.22), and St. Stephen's College (score 72.97).

The NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework), Government of India, ranks all educational institutions in 16 different categories like overall, university, college, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental, innovation, agriculture and allied sectors, and research institutions. This year, they have introduced three new categories in NIRF Ranking 2025: open universities, skill universities, and state-funded public universities. LPU CSE program is well structured and updated with modern advancements. both b.sc and m.sc in computer science can provide a foundation. scholarships for M.sc are available to high achieving bsc students, easing financial strain and guaranteeing regular academic support.

The fee structure for B.tech CSE at LPU is affordable considering the facilities provided. the academic expenses are approx INR 1.6-2 lakhs per year with scholarships provided on the basis of previous academic achievements. LPU offers many scholarships based on most LPUs academic merits and other outcomes significantly reducing the total cost of appropriate students.

Is hostel compulsory in LPU for everyone?

No, hostel is not compulsory for everyone at LPU. students can choose to stay in university hostels or live outside as per their comfort. however, LPU hostels are well- equipped, safe and provide a vibrant campus life, so many students prefer staying inside for better convenience.
