Determining Eligibility & Appearing for MBA Entrance Exams
The first step that aspirants must take if they wish to pursue management education at any one of the top NIRF MBA colleges is to determine whether they meet the eligibility criteria for MBA or other postgraduate management courses. The MBA eligibility criteria is the same across most B-schools with additional requirements depending on the admission criteria for certain MBA colleges. Graduation Scores: A graduation score of at least 50% is mandatory for applicants in the General category. SC, ST, or PWD candidates are allowed a relaxation of 5% and must achieve an overall score of at least 45%.

A total of 8686 applications for NIRF ranking were made and 5,543 unique applicant institutions under various categories and/or subject domains were ranked for NIRF last year.
FMS, Delhi is not included in the NIRF MBA rankings since it is affiliated to Delhi University and is not a standalone management institute. Although FMS, Delhi is considered to be one of the top management institutes in India, aspirants will not find FMS Delhi ranked in any of the NIRF ranking in the last few years.
Apart from management, some other fields for which NIRF rankings are released include Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, Law, Architecture and Planning, Agriculture and Allied Sectors. NIRF rankings are also released for Universities, Colleges, and Research Institutions.
