Tamil Nadu Class 12 Previous Year Question Paper: Exam Pattern
There are some changes done in the exam pattern to be followed by the students while preparing for the Tamil Nadu class 12th board exams. Students can check out the details related to the exam pattern from the pointers given below:
- The duration for each paper will be three hours.
- Tamil Nadu 12th board exams will be conducted in three parts.
- Part 1 will consist of language papers for the first language or mother language.
- Part 2 will consist of a language paper for English.
- Part 3 will consist of papers for the subject of the streams that are chosen by the students.
- Each paper will be conducted for 100 marks which includes a Theory paper of 70 marks, a practical paper of 20 marks, and an internal assessment of 10 marks.
- Each paper will be divided into four sections.
- Section one will have MCQs for 15 marks.
- Section 2 will consist of very short answer-type questions for 2 marks each followed by section 3 with short answer-type questions for 3 marks each.
- The last section will have long answer-type questions for 5 marks each.
