TNEA Choice Filling 2023: Dates, Process, Important Instructions -  TNEA choice filling 2023 round 3 will commence from August 24, 2023. The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu is in charge of conducting the TNEA 2023 choice filling process in online mode at tneaonline.org. Candidates seeking B.Tech admission via TNEA are required to participate in the TNEA counselling 2023. In order to participate in TNEA choice filling 2023, it is mandatory for the candidates to register for the TNEA counselling 2023. Candidates are required to use their TNEA 2023 application number and password in order to take part in the TNEA 2023 choice filling process. Candidates will have to fill their choices according to their order of preference For the TNEA choice filling 2023, candidates have to deposit INR 5000 for other categories and INR 1000 for scheduled castes and tribes. TNEA Choice Filling Process 2023

Candidates should follow the steps mentioned below to participate in TNEA choice filling 2023.

Step 1: TNEA Login 2023 

Visit the TNEA official website and login to the candidate portal using your TNEA 2023 application number and password.  Click on ‘Sign in’ to proceed with the TNEA choice filling process 2023.

Step 2:View Personal Details

After login into the candidate portal, view your personal and academic details, TNEA 2023 admission details, TNEA application number, rank, etc. Click on the 'Next' button to proceed to the next screen for the initial payment.

Step 3: Initial Payment

 In this stage, you are required to pay the TNEA choice filling fee. The counselling fee of TNEA 2023 choice filling is INR 5000 for others and INR 1000 for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category. You can make the payment via online payment gateway or through demand draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, TNEA”, payable at Chennai and payment has to be done only via any of the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFC). An e-receipt will be generated after a successful payment. Click the ‘Next’ button to begin the TNEA choice filling process 2023.

Step 4: Add/Remove/ Rearrange Choices

 Select your choices in an order of preference for the TNEA seat allotment 2023. Choice filling and choice locking facility will be available for 3 days, 3rd day until 5.00 pm. The choices can be modified anytime within the stipulated time. Click on the ‘Download My Choice’ option and download the choice list. Click on the ‘Send My Choice List to My Email’ option to send the choice list to your personal email address.

Step 5: Choice Locking

After making the modifications in the choices, you need to lock your choices. Click on ‘Send OTP’ which will be forwarded to your registered mobile number and email address, then enter the one time password in the space provided for that and click the ‘Lock My Choice Lock’ button.

Once you have locked your choices, they cannot be changed. In case you fail to lock the choices within the specified time, the choices will be automatically locked by the admission authority.

Step 7: Tentative TNEA Seat Allotment 2023

 Once you have locked your choices, a tentative TNEA seat allotment 2023 will be made based on your rank and preferences. After the TNEA tentative allotment is over, you can login and see your allotment.

TNEA Choice Filling 2023 - Important Instructions

  • Candidates can save and modify their choices until the stipulated time and lock the choices before the specified deadline
  • Candidates can modify their choices by deleting, moving up by a place, making a specific choice as the desired choice number etc.
  • Candidates should select as many choices as possible to increase their chances of admission into the TNEA participating institutes 2023
