The TNEA registration 2025 has started from May 7, 2025. The last date to register for TNEA counselling process is June 6, 2025. The last date to upload required certificates is June 9, 2025. The TNEA document verification process will be conducted from June 10 to June 20, 2025. TNEA 2025 random number is a 10-digit unique number that is utilized to handle tie situations in the rank list.

Once you successfully complete the online registration process of TNEA 2025, you are required to sign in using your email address and password to view the unique random number allotted to you. Step 2	Navigate to the student portal and click on the ‘Login’ option.

Step 4	Your allotted Random Number TNEA 2025 will be displayed on the screen. You will also receive the same through SMS on your mobile. Don't forget to save it for future reference.

TNEA Tie Breaking Policy 2025

A tie-breaking policy is applied if two or more students secure the same rank or merit. The policy will help DOTE to resolve the tie. The following rules are applied –

Tie-Breaking Situation	Tie Breaking Criteria
Tie Breaker 1	Students with higher marks in Mathematics shall be allocated a higher rank.
Tie Breaker 2	If the tie persists, higher marks scored by a student in Physics shall be taken into consideration to determine rank/ merit.
Tie Breaker 3	If the tie persists after applying the above rules, the student with higher marks in the 4th optional subject shall be allocated a higher rank.
Tie Breaker 4	If the tie persists after applying the above rules, the Date of Birth of a student shall be taken into consideration. Students older in age will be allocated a higher rank.
Tie Breaker 5	If the tie persists after applying all the above rules, a Random Number will be used to determine the merit. Students with a higher value of random number shall be allocated a higher rank.

What after Random Number TNEA 2025 Allocation?

After the allocation of the TNEA Random Number 2025, DTE will begin the certificate verification process. The TNEA 2025 certificate verification will be done from June 10-20, 2025. A 50% score in 12th generally doesn't qualify for LPU's merit-based scholarships tied directly to high board exam percentages (usually starting from 80%). However, you can still earn a significant scholarship by excelling in the LPUNEST (LPU Entrance and Scholarship Test). LPU also offers financial aid based on need, sports, cultural achievements, and other special categories.
