How to Download UGC NET 2025 e-Certificate?
To download the UGC NET 2025 e-certificate, candidates need to follow the following steps:
Step 1 : Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) for UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2 : On the homepage, scroll down to the bottom and click on the “UGC NET E-Certificate” link.
Step 3 : You will be prompted to enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the Security Pin displayed on the screen.
Step 4 : After entering the required details, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 5 : Once submitted, your UGC NET scorecard will be displayed on the screen. You must locate and click on the “Download Certificate” button.
Step 6 : On the download page, you will need to enter your Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Exam Centre code.
Step 7 : After providing the necessary information, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 8 : The UGC NET certificate will be displayed on the screen for your review.

What is the Validity of the UGC NET Certificate?
The UGC NET certificate has a lifetime validity for applying for the post of Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. However, for candidates aspiring to avail of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the validity of the certificate is limited to three years from the date of issue. What to Do If I Don’t Receive My UGC NET e-Certificate?
If you do not receive the electronic copy of your UGC NET Certificate, you should contact the authorities via email at ugcnet@nta.ac.in or ecertificate@nta.ac. Send a cover email to the provided address stating that you have not received your UGC NET Certificate, including your Roll No., the date of the UGC-NET exam you took, and the UGC-Ref. No. if known.
If you have not yet submitted attested copies of your documents, you can attach them to the email. The documents should be attested by a gazetted officer, with their official stamp bearing their name, designation, and official address.
