CUET UG

- As per the CUET UG 2026 exam pattern, the MCQ based test is done via pen and paper as well as CBT mode. There will be four sections (Sections IA, IB, II, and III).
- Of the four sections of CUET 2026 exam pattern, Section IA is mandatory for all the students (out of 50 questions, 40 to be attempted).
- Section IB is compulsory for students who would like to take up languages as their main domain subject (out of 50 questions, 40 to be attempted).
- Either Section II (out of 50 questions, 40 to be attempted) or Section Ill (out of 60 questions, 50 to be attempted) has to be taken based on the subject selected if Section IB is not taken.
- Marking Scheme : +5 for every correct answer, -1 for every wrong answer, and 0 for unattempted questions
UP Common Nursing Entrance Test (UP CNET)

- The courses offered through the UP CNET exam are B.Sc. Nursing for 4 years and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing for 2 years.
- It is conducted as an offline (OMR-based) exam for a duration of 140 minutes. The mediums of the paper are English and Hindi for B.Sc Nursing and English only for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
- A total of 120 multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
- There are 5 sections in the exam: Nursing Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. 24 marks are allotted to each section.
- Each question carries 1 mark, making the total marks for the exam 120. There is no negative marking.
