Final selection is done on the basis of a cumulative score that is evaluated by combining the scores achieved by a candidate in different rounds of selection process. Candidates applying for Ph.D. must make sure that they are mentioning their recently published research work or research that has been recently concluded.

About the Institute:
XIMB was established in 1987 under the agreement signed between the Government of Odisha and the Jesuits in Odisha. It is one of the most reputed business schools in India and comes under the governance of the Government of India, the Government of Odisha and the Society of Jesuits collectively.
XIMB has worked with various government departments of Odisha as a consultant and for different research projects as well. The institute has also been named the Centre of Excellence in Fiscal Policy and Taxation (CEFT) by the state government.
