Assam HS Preparation Tips 2024: Exam Pattern
The maximum marks allotted for the Assam HS exams 2024 will be 100, where the marks in the theory exam will vary depending on the streams. In the Science stream, the practical based subjects will carry 70 marks in the theory part and 30 marks for the practical section. In both parts, the students have to obtain at least 30% marks to pass the exam. In the Commerce stream, subjects like Business Studies, Accountancy, and Math will have 70 marks in theory and 30 marks in practical/project work. In the Arts stream, the maximum marks assigned in the theory part will be 80, and 20 marks will be in the project/practical/internal assessment.

Assam HS Preparation Tips 2024: Marking Scheme
Students must acquire a minimum of 30% or above in both aggregate and sectional marks to pass the exam. If any candidate has obtained 30% aggregate marks but has less than 30% marks in one or two subjects then he/she has to sit for the supplementary examinations. Incase of practical based subjects, 30% will be calculated on the whole. The marking scheme for practical based and non-praticel subjects are different. The Assam HS exam 2024 will start with the English subject and will end with multimedia and web technology. The exams will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift exams will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12 pm while the afternoon shift exams will be held from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Students are advised to complete the Assam HS syllabus 2023-24 at least two months before the commencement of the exams.
