About Bihar Class 12th 2023

Bihar 12th Board 2023 is conducted every year by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). BSEB is a private board that conducts the 10th and 12th board exams in Bihar state. The Bihar class 12th board exam is conducted for students who are in their higher secondary education and act like a pathway to their higher education. The students who qualify for Bihar Class 12th 2023 will be eligible to choose any higher education option as they prefer and opt for a college. The BSEB board conducts 12th board exams for both regular & private students. Even though the board follows a pattern similar to CBSE, it is not under CBSE. BSEB is a separate exam conducting body that has its own pattern and regulations.

Every year around the month of December, BSEB board releases a notification regarding the Bihar 12th Board exam. Along with the official notification, the board also releases the exam dates and other details for the exam. This year Bihar Board Class 12 Exams will be held from 1st Feb 2023 to 11th Feb 2023. The notification is released in the form of a PDF which consists of all the necessary information related to the exam such as the syllabus, pattern, important instructions, and more. The notification also informs the students regarding any change in the pattern of the Bihar 12th Board exam.

Bihar Class 12 Board Exams 2023: Overview

BSEB Board conducts the Bihar Class 12 Board Exams 2023 every year. The board conducts the exam for all the schools that follow the Bihar board pattern. The board has released the notification for Bihar Class 12 Board Exams 2023 on December 9, 2022. The mode of the exam is offline. The board will conduct the exam for various core + optional subjects. Some of the core subjects included in the Bihar Class 12 Board Exams 2023 are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies, History, Information Technology, etc.

The board will also prescribe the center for the students. The students will have to sit in the center as prescribed by the board. The details for the allotted exam center will be provided to the students through their respective admit cards. BSEB board is responsible for preparing the question paper and exam pattern for the students and also prescribing the syllabus for the exam.

Bihar 12th Exam Pattern 2023

BSEB prescribes the Bihar 12th Exam Pattern 2023 every year. As per the Bihar 12th Exam Pattern 2023, the following points must be noted:

• The mode of the exam will be offline and the exam will be conducted for a time duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes.
• The total marks for the exam will be 100 for each subject.
• Out of 100 marks, 70 marks will be for theory exams, and the remaining 30 marks will be for internal assessment and practical exams. The final grade will be awarded to the students based on all the components.
• As per the new pattern of BSEB, the Bihar 12th Board 2023 will consist of both objective & subjective type questions.
• The question paper will also consist of short & long answer questions.
• The maximum marks for long answer questions in the exam will be 5 with minimum marks as 1.
• There will be a total of 7 subjects in the Bihar 12th Board Exam Pattern 2023: English, Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Language Paper-II, Hindi, and Elective Subjects.
• There will be no negative marking in the exam for incorrect answers.

Bihar 12th Syllabus 2023

BSEB board will release the Bihar 12th Syllabus 2023 along with the notification. Even though most part of the syllabus remains the same every year, the board might make a few changes in the syllabus every year as per the requirements. The board releases detailed syllabi for every subject separately. The students are advised to stick to the syllabus to prepare for the exam as the questions in the exam are strict as per the syllabus prescribed by the board. Bihar 12th Admit Card 2023 is a mandatory documents for every student without which they will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The BSEB board will assign admit cards for all the students which will be distributed to them via their respective schools. The school authorities will be able to download the admit card from the official portal of BSEB.
