HSC : Over 1 Lac in Division Get HSC Marksheets

The Kolhapur divisional board of state board distributed original mark sheets of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination to over one lakh students across 750 junior colleges on Friday. The division ranked second among nine others in the HSC result, which was announced on May 25.

"We distributed original copies of the HSC mark sheet and a booklet containing details of the result at 11am. There was, as such, no complaint from Sangli, Satara and Kolhapur districts regarding the distribution."

He added that the rush to collect the original mark sheets is fading these days since students already know their result a week in advance and plan their next step accordingly.

Gosavi also said the state board officials will declare the official date of the Class X result soon, but the results are likely to be out on June 7. Till Thursday, the divisional board office received over 800 photocopy applications and the number is likely to increase as the final date to apply is June 14. "Students must fill up the prescribed form online and pay the fees by June 14. They should contact their respective colleges for details about acquiring a photocopy of the answer sheets. Students who wish to reappear for the July 2016 exams should submit their applications within the given deadline as well. "

The state board introduced a scheme for rechecking answer sheets in 2013. Accordingly, it is mandatory for students to acquire a photocopy of the answer sheet by filling up the necessary forms.
