WBJEE Paper Analysis 2024

WBJEE paper analysis 2024 will be released once the WBJEE 2024 exam is over. WBJEE exam 2024 will be held on April 28, 2024, in two shifts. The WBJEE Mathematics Paper I will be conducted from 11 am to 1 pm and Physics & Chemistry Paper II from 2 pm to 4 pm. WBJEE Paper Analysis 2024 for Mathematics Paper I

WBJEE 2023 Paper Analysis

WBJEE 2023 Paper 1 Exam Analysis

Paper 1 consists of Mathematics section from which 75 questions has been asked divided in three categories. The detailed WBJEE paper analysis 2023 for paper 1 has been given in the following table.

WBJEE 2023 Paper 2 Exam Analysis

Paper 2 of WBJEE 2023 comprises of the Physics and Chemistry section and the total number of questions asked was 80 which is divided into 3 categories as well. WBJEEB has asked 40 questions from each subject which was further divided into 30 questions from Category 1, 5 questions from Category 2 and 5 questions from Category 3. WBJEE 2022 Paper 1 Exam Analysis

WBJEE 2022 Mathematics (Paper 1) was conducted on April 30 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the mode of exam is offline. 

• The Mathematics question paper of WBJEE 2022 consists of 75 questions that are divided into three categories
• Category 1 has 50 questions and 1 mark is awarded for each correct attempt, Category 2 consists of 15 questions for 30 marks and Category 3 consists of 10 questions for 20 marks. The overall mark for Paper 1 of the WBJEE exam is 100
• So, the overall level of WBJEE 2022 Paper 2 (Mathematics) was moderate to tough

WBJEE 2022 Paper 2 Exam Analysis

WBJEE 2022 Paper 2 (Physics & Chemistry) was conducted on April 30 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. 

• According to the exam pattern of WBJEE, Paper 2 consists of 40 questions each from Physics and Chemistry
• The questions are divided into three categories, viz., Category 1 (30 questions for 30 marks), Category 2 (5 questions for 10 marks) and Category 3 (5 questions for 10 marks)
• The total marks weightage of WBJEE 2022 Paper 2 is 100
• Difficulty level of Chemistry was moderate. Questions were standard and covered all the three parts Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry equally. Students with good preparation could easily attempt 35 to 40 questions. 

WBJEE 2021 Paper Analysis

WBJEE 2021 was successfully conducted and this year WBJEE Physics and Mathematics section will follow WBJEE Exam Pattern. While most of the students found Mathematics section tough, the Physics section was easy and the Chemistry section was moderate. WBJEE 2021 Paper 1 Exam Analysis

WBJEE 2021 Paper was successfully conducted on July 17, 2021. More than 1 lakh students appeared in one of the most popular state level engineering entrance examinations . WBJEE 2022 will help students secure one of the seats out of 32,000 seats in West Bengal engineering colleges.

• The paper was conducted in two shifts. Paper I was Mathematics which was conducted in the morning shift between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
• Most of the students found the Mathematics paper length and difficult to solve.
• Compared to Last year, the Mathematics paper was tougher. Most of the questions were application based. 

According to students who attended the examination, section B was lengthy and its difficulty level was high while section A was moderate. Students found Section C easy to attempt.

So, the overall level of WBJEE 2021 Paper I (Mathematics) was moderate to tough. 

WBJEE 2021 Paper 2 Exam Analysis

WBJEE 2021 Paper 2 was concluded at 4: 00 pm on July 17, 2021. Students who appeared in Paper II concluded that Physics paper followed the pattern of JEE Mains. Physics section covered questions from either syllabus. Most of the questions were asked from state board books.The overall Level of questions in Physics was easy. 

Difficulty level of Chemistry was moderate. Questions were standard and covered all the three parts Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry equally. Students with good preparation could easily attempt 35 to 40 questions. 

WBJEE 2020 Paper Analysis

The authorities conducted WBJEE 2020 in February 02, 2020. The overall difficulty level of WBJEE 2020 was moderate to difficult. Students found mathematics to be moderate to difficult. Whereas students found Physics and Chemistry to be relatively easy. The important topics were taken from board examination syllabus of West Bengal state. The syllabus was given equal importance and weightage in the question paper

WBJEE 2019 Paper Analysis

WBJEE 2019 entrance exam has been conducted on 26th May 2019 for admission into UG programmes such as Architecture, Pharmacy, Engineering and Technology in various Government and self-financed Universities in the state of West Bengal. WBJEE 2019 was conducted in offline mode and candidates are evaluated on the basis of their Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical ability within the duration of 120 minutes (2 Hours).

WBJEE 2018 Paper Analysis

Candidates the understand the paper difficulty of WBJEE 2018 analysing the question paper. In overall analysis, the exam was moderate to easy except for mathematics which was difficult in terms of time management.

• In the Chemistry Section, the level of difficulty was moderate and one could easily attempt 30 to 32 questions within a time frame of 60 minutes in this sections with decent preparation.
• In Physics the level of difficulty was moderate and one could easily attempt 31 to 32 questions within a time frame of 60 minutes in this sections with decent preparation. If the accuracy is good, one has a higher chance of scoring high marks in this section.
• In Maths, the level of difficulty was moderate and one could easily attempt 55 to 65 questions within a time frame of 120 minutes in this sections with decent preparation.
