The Xiamen Medical University of China was established on October 11, 1996, with the joint effort of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and the Xiamen University and by the approval of the State Education Commission. It is situated in Xiamen, Fujian province of China. It is one of the high-level research medical schools of China.The motto of the university  says ‘self-improvement, perfection to perfection’. The QS Global World Ranking 2020 of the university is 451. 

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

Xiamen University has a graduate school, 25 schools with 64 departments and 10 research institutes and research centres. Since the day of its establishment, the Xiamen Medical University has excelled in offering quality education to domestic as well as international students. The university offers five major courses in undergraduate studies namely clinical medicine, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, nursing, and MBBS (Clinical Medicine). Xiamen Medical University has nine affiliated hospitals with a total of 11000 beds in the affiliated hospitals under the university. These affiliated hospitals provide high-quality resources to train medical students.
