AIIMS Jodhpur Selection Criteria

12th Marks 

Students need to be 12th pass from a recognized board to get admitted into MBB &BSc course offered by AIIMS Jodhpur. Marks obtained during the examination will be another factor of consideration. The candidate also needs to qualify for the entrance examination for getting enrolled in the course. 12th marks & entrance exam result plays an essential role in determining a candidate’s UG course eligibility.

Graduation Marks

The Candidate who is seeking admission to Postgraduate courses must have a qualified degree in the relevant stream. Similar to UG admission, Entrance exams have to be attempted for the PG course. Marks obtained in UG are an aspect to qualify for PG courses at AIIMS Jodhpur.

Other Methods

Cut-off marks will be specified each year for entrance exams. Candidates need to acquire a passing cut-off for qualifying. Once the candidate clears the examination procedure is further moved to counselling.

Candidates need to visit the AIIMS Jodhpur admission portal to know the invitations for the various program. Students have to fill out the application form online/offline as per suggested. Applicants are requested to read the guidelines as given in the prospectus. Details like name, email ID, phone no, etc has to be given. AIIMS Jodhpur Application Process for Admission 2023

AIIMS Jodhpur admission process is based on the entrance exams. For MBBS admission, students need to attend NEET exams, for other courses like BSc students have to attend the AIIMS entrance examination. To take admission to AIIMS, Jodhpur’s entrance test-based candidates must apply online on the AIIMS Jodhpur admission portal for the entrance test. Application process NEET examination

  • Candidates first need to do the registration by visiting the NEET website  
  • Candidates have to fill out the application form by uploading photographs & other documents
  • Scanned images should fit the specified file format
  • Fees should be paid online
  • Printout of the confirmation has to be taken.

Several announcements of examination and results for the year 2022 are available on AIIMS Jodhpur official website. The candidate seeking admission to AIIMS must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2022. Interested candidates can apply for admission to AIIMS Jodhpur within the last date of application. Only the application form of those students who met the AIIMS eligibility criteria will be taken forward.

AIIMS Jodhpur Admission 2023

To appear in the entrance examination certain terms and conditions will be there, which will be mentioned in the invitation itself.

  • For getting admission into the AIIMS Jodhpur MBBS program students must be 12th pass-outs with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks for OBC candidates and for SC/ST 50%. 
  • They should also hold valid scores for the NEET examination, Cut-off marks will be mentioned earlier which will help the candidate to plan accordingly.
  • While visiting the centre for counselling candidates should also carry a NEET scorecard.
  • Admission to B.Sc Nursing requires 55% marks in the 12th examination. The candidates should attend the AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Entrance Examination. Subjects like English, Physics, Biology, and chemistry should be present in the 12th class.
  • For PG courses candidates must attend the INICET exam & hold a degree certificate in the relevant stream. MD/MS program requires an MBBS degree whereas MSc Nursing requires BSc Nursing with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. AIIMS also has an M.Sc Nursing Entrance Test for admission to the M.Sc Nursing course.
  • The eligible candidate may be notified to appear for a written examination or interview. Based on the number of applicants selected.
  • To increase the chances of getting admission, students must
  1. Reach their examination centres on time. 
  2. They must find information related to the exam, such as the previous year's papers, syllabus, and the question paper pattern, on the official website of AIIMS. Accessing such information will help the candidates prepare better for the exam and increase their chances of getting selected. 
  3. Once the candidate gets selected after counselling he/she needs to submit all the required documents and pay the course fees and opt for admission.

AIIMS Jodhpur admission to several UG courses is done through the AIIMS Jodhpur cut off which is based on the NEET exam rank. AIIMS Jodhpur Counselling Process 2023

NEET UG 2022 results are out, and the counselling for admission will start in October 2022 (tentative date). Moreover, NEET PG 2022 counselling will start on September 15, 2022.

AIIMS Jodhpur Admission Eligibility for UG

AIIMS Jodhpur UG course includes medical courses such as MBBS and B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing program. The time duration for MBBS is four and a half years, followed by a mandatory rotatory internship of one year whereas B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing is four years. Admission to the AIIMS, Jodhpur UG courses is based on the merit list. Basic AIIMS Jodhpur eligibility criteria for UG courses require at least 60 or 55% marks in XII. 

AIIMS Jodhpur Admission Eligibility for PG

AIIMS, Jodhpur offers various PG courses. The eligibility criteria and duration depend on the selected courses. For certain PG courses internships during the UG program are mandatory.

  • For the MBBS course, there is an internship of 12 months which has to be done by every MBBS student, during the training students will gain practical experience which help them to work independently in the future.
  • The duration of internship for B.Sc. Nursing is Six months in which students will be assigned the duty of patient care under the guidance of faculty and the Nursing department.
