BMC Kolkata B.Mus Admission
- A candidate who has passed the H.S. (10+2) examination or its equivalent examination is eligible to seek admission to the 1 st year of the 3-year B.Mus. (Hons.Gen.) Courses of studies provided he/she has also passed in English having full marks of not being less than 100.
- Candidates belonging to the Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe community taking up Honours Course of Study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination, as the case may be.

BMC Kolkata M.Mus Admission
- Any candidate who has passed the B.Mus. Examination with Honours or B.A./ B.Sc. Examination with Honours in any subject along with Music as an Elective General subject from this university or from any other Institution recognized by this university may be admitted to the M.Mus. Course
- Any candidate who has passed the B.A./B.Sc./B.com. Examination with Honours in any subject from this University or from any other Institution recognized by this University, but did not have Music as Elective subject at the degree level may be admitted to the M.Mus. Course on the basis of test held by the College authority for the purpose.
- Any candidate who has passed the B.Mus. Examination without Honours from this University or from any other Institution recognized by this University may be admitted to the M.Mus. Course on the basis of test held by the College authority for the purpose.
- Any candidate who has passed the M.A. Examination in any subject from this University or any other Institution recognized by this University may be admitted to the M.Mus. Course on the basis of test held by the College authority for the purpose.
