Griffith College is the largest independent third level institution situated in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. It is a private institution that was established in 1974. Griffith College holds an international reputation for offering quality education and providing an excellent platform for the growth of students. It is a designated educational institute of the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC) and is also listed by the Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) that confirms the standard of teaching at Griffith College. The accountancy course offered by Griffith College is accredited by ACCA. 

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The main campus of Griffith College is located in Dublin within a mile of St. Stephen's Green on South Circular Road. The campus expands across an area of seven acres and has all the necessary amenities and facilities required for students. The college has invested a good amount in the infrastructure of the College to provide modern facilities and equipment for study and research. The IT infrastructure is well maintained and laboratories are well equipped. The other facilities available within the campus are a well-stocked Library, free on-campus WiFi, Free medical services, computer labs, printing services, restaurants, fitness room, 24/ 7 Security etc. The undergraduate and postgraduate level courses offered at Griffith College are recognised globally. Apart from this, Griffith College also offers short term courses, corporate training programmes and professional courses to both local and international students.

Griffith College, Dublin is a well-known institute for quality education in various disciplines. The College has been awarded Platinum accreditation by ACCA which is recognition an institute receives from ACCA. Students who study at Griffith College get an appropriate platform to explore themselves and reach new heights. Currently, around 7,000 students are studying at Griffith College from over 90 different countries. Most students prefer staying in the residence halls of Griffith College as it is the most comfortable place to stay and a  convenient option at an affordable cost of living. The changes of students getting the desired job or getting enrolled in further higher studies after graduating from Griffith College is quite high. Most courses offered at Griffith College have a work placement component that prepares students to meet the requirements of industries and the workplace. Many courses are delivered by industry professionals and experts in relevant fields to help students learn practical skills. Internships, training and practical learning help students to meet the requirements of recruiters and get a well-paid job for themselves after graduation. 

COVID- 19 Response 

  • Griffith College, Dublin is following the rules and regulations defined by the Ireland Government to limit the spread of coronavirus. As Ireland remains in Level 5 COVID-19 restrictions, Griffith College will continue to offer courses in online mode for semester 1 of the 2021 academic session. 

  • Some plans have been made for Semester 2 beginning in April 2021.  Like a limited number of classes that require practical learning will be held on campus.

  • Reception, International Office and Library remains open for students. 

  •  Halls of Residence with limited capacity is availability. 

  • Those visiting the university campus will have to follow safety guidelines like wearing a mask all the time, maintaining social distancing and personal hygiene.

Griffith College Dublin (GCD) Bursary- UG

 

Griffith College Dublin (GCD) Bursary-UG is awarded to all students who are enrolled in the Griffith College Dublin programme at an undergraduate level. The amount of scholarship awarded by different Faculty are as follows:

Application Process 

Students are offered a scholarship at the time of admission at Griffith College Dublin. There is no need to fill in a separate application for Griffith College Dublin (GCD) Bursary. The scholarship is also renewable. 

Griffith College Dublin (GCD) Bursary- PG

Griffith College Dublin (GCD) Bursary- PG  is awarded to all students who are enrolled in the Griffith College Dublin programme at the postgraduate level. The amount of scholarship awarded by different Faculty are as follows:

  • Master's Degree Programme: €2000 

  • M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Business & Technology: €1000 

  • M.Sc in Digital Transformation:  €1000 

Application Process 

There is no separate application for the Griffith College Dublin (GCD) Bursary- PG. Students are considered for scholarship at the time of admission. 

Academic Merit Scholarship (AMS)

 

The Academic Merit Scholarship (AMS) is awarded to students who have a strong academic background. The scholarship amount awarded is shown in the following table:
