  50% in aggregate (See Note 3 above) AND 45% in Education OR in any related subject.

  55% marks in Education OR in any related subject
  OR
  50% marks in aggregate (See Note 3 above) if the student does not have Education as a subject
• For SC/ST of West Bengal Origin (See Note 4 above) :
  40% in aggregate (See Note 3 above)
  OR
  40% in Education / any related subject.

For Education Honours : The subjects Psychology / Philosophy / Mathematics / Sociology / Economics / Political Science / History be treated as related subject.

• For General Category :
  70% in aggregate (See Note 3 below) AND 65% in any related subject (see Note 1 below).

For Economics Honours : A candidate shall be allowed to take up Honours in Economics if he/she has passed in Mathematics at the H.S Examination (10+2) conducted by West Bengal Council of H.S. Education or its equivalent examination in Mathematics / Business Mathematics (NOT BUSINESS ECONOMICS INCLUDING BUSINESS MATHEMATICS).
