Admissions at Indian Institute of Forest Management

IIFM admission begins in the month of May 2019 till July 30, 2019. The candidate can register for IIFM course through official website of the college and submit the fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking mode. Candidates need to submit the required documents mentioned in the form. For PGDFM AND PGDSM, a candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.  The college publishes an official information brochure for the courses admissions on its website every year. The candidates must apply as per the instructions given on the official website of the college.

The admission for the Indian Institute of Forest Management is through the CAT/XAT score. Shortlisted Candidates will be called for Analytical Writing Tests and Personal Interviews who have valid CAT score.

A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (it may also be referred to as Persons With Disability (PWD) categories), awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Indian Institute of Forest Management M.Phil Admission

The admission for the Master of Philosophy is through a written test and interview conducted by the college. The candidates qualifying the written test shall be invited for the interview. Based on the performance of the interview a merit list of suitable candidates will be released for admission. Interested candidate can apply for the programme.

The minimum qualification for all candidates shall be Post Graduate degree/diploma in the field of Science/Engineering/ Management and related Social sciences. (The equivalence will be decided by the Institute) or its equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks recognized by an Indian University or Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The relaxation of 5% marks at the Masters Degree (P.G) eligibility criterion shall be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/DA category as per the guidelines of UGC.

After that, download the application form from the official website of the college and filled it carefully. Once the candidate filled the form then the candidate can submit the application form personally or by post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500 for SC/ST candidates) in favor of Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.

IIFM PGDFM / PGDSM Selection Process 2019

The selection process of the course depends on the valid score of the CAT / XAT examination. The college shortlist the candidates on the basis of CAT/XAT score.  IIMs/XLRI has no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the course. After short listing the candidates, written aptitude test (WAT) and personnel interviews (PI) will be held at BHOPAL, BANGALORE, NEW DELHI, KOLKATA, GUWAHATI & KOCHI during March/April 2019.

IIFM M.Phil Eligibility Criteria 2019

The minimum eligibility criteria for the course are that all candidates shall be Post Graduate degree/diploma in the field of Science/Engineering/ Management and related Social sciences or its equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks recognized by an Indian University or Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and 50% marks for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/DA category as per the guidelines of UGC.

IIFM M.Phil Selection Process 2019

The selection to this course depends on the merit list that released by the college. Based on the score of written test and performance in the personal interview, a merit list of suitable candidates will be released for admission. The written test shall have three components namely English ability, Analytical ability and Natural Resource Management aptitude.

IIFM FPM Eligibility Criteria 2019

Age of the candidates must not be more than 45 years as on 1st July 2019. The minimum qualification of the candidate is a Bachelors Degree with minimum 50 percent marks (absolute), and Masters degree (minimum two years prescribed duration after 10+2+3 years of formal education) in relevant discipline (relevancy has to be decided by the IIFM) with minimum first class including Five year/Four-year Integrated Master's Degree course and with good academic record or Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with minimum 55% marks (absolute) or For IIFM Graduates, who have done PGDFM and IIM graduates who have done PGDM, the minimum OGPA of 3.00 in 4.33 maximum scale, is required or For MRM Post Graduates from IIFM, with 3.00 CGPA.

IIFM FPM Application Process 2019

The candidates who want to take admission to IIFM, they can download application form from the official website of the college and filled it correctly. After that, submit the application by attaching all the requisite documents and pay the application fee.

IIFM FPM Selection Process 2019

The selection of the candidate depends on the score of the screening test and performance in the presentation and Interview.

Screening test

Any Eligible candidates with any one of the following score will be called directly for Presentation and Personal Interview: IIM CAT/GMAT (scores of two years old with required cut off) as decided by IIFM,  UGC-CSIR-JRF/NET (Certificate not older than five years) in relevant area of specialization, GATE (Certificate not older than five years),  ICAR NET (scores not older than 5 years), FRI entrance test for PhD (two years old), Candidates who have already obtained a PGDFM from IIFM/PGDM IIM with a minimum of OGPA of 3.00, Candidates who have obtained MRM from IIFM with 3.00 CGPA, All India and allied services officers, officers in scale II of nationalized banks, officers of equivalent rank of PSU. Candidates who fulfil the above mentioned eligibility and do not have any of the above qualifying tests, but have five years' experience post their respective eligible degree will have to meet the criteria of internal test designed by IIFM.

Presentation and Interview

Candidates will be called to Bhopal for presentation and interview. Final selection will be based on criteria. After that Students will be admitted in a specific area of specialization.
