Through Entrance Exams
IAR also has a prescribed set of entrance exams that the students need to take to get admission to the institution. For B.Tech admission, the allowed entrance exams are JEE Main, GUJCET, or any state-level equivalents. On the other hand, CAT and CMAT scores are considered for MBA admissions.

IAR B.Tech Admission
The B.Tech programme at the Institute of Advanced Research has seven different courses under Engineering. Aspiring candidates have the option of applying to their desired courses and pursuing an Engineering degree in an approved and recognised University. The total seat capacity for each discipline is 30, except for the computer engineering degree, which is 80 students per year.

IAR PhD Admission
PhD in various disciplines from the Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar offers doctoral degrees in various disciplines for aspiring research scholars. The course duration is minimum of three years and up to five years, depending on the rate of completion.
