KITP Kanpur B.Tech and B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria 2020

The admissions to the renowned courses offered by the institute such as B.Tech and B.Parm will be based on meeting the necessary KITP Kanpur B.Tech and B.Pharm eligibility criteria 2020. As per the criteria:

  • Candidates must have cleared their class 12 board examination in the stream of science from a recognised board of education.

  • General and OBC Category candidates are required to have secured 45% aggregate scores in the qualifying exam. Meanwhile reserved category (SC/ST) candidates will be asked to have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 40% in the qualifying exam.

  • For, B.Tech, candidates must have cleared the qualifying exam in subjects such as Physics, Mathematics and one optional subject such as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or any other technical vocational subject.

  • For B.Pharm, candidates must have appeared for Physics and Chemistry and one optional subject such as Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology or any other technical vocational subject.

KITP Kanpur Application Process 2020 (All Courses)

Once the candidates have assured that they qualify the requisite eligibility criteria for the course of their choice, they will be able to complete the KITP Kanpur Application Process 2020. Candidates who are interested in pursuing their higher education from KIT or KITP Kanpur, they will be able to submit the application forms in both online and offline mode. In Order to complete the application process at KITP Kanpur:

  • For Online Mode:

    • Candidates must visit the official website and download the application form and fill in the requisite details such as candidate’s name, parents’ name, their qualification, w.r.t. to the course of their choice.

    • After filling in the requisite details, candidates are to send the completed application form on the email ID - info@kit.ac.in

  • For Offline:

    • Candidates must send in the completed application form, that they downloaded from the official website at the institute’s address given below

KITP Kanpur Selection Process 2020 (All Courses)

After successfully completing the application form and submitting it at the specified address, the candidates will be called for the KITP Kanpur Selection process 2020. As per the KITP admission guidelines 2020:

  • For B.Tech, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, M.Tech, MBA and MCA programmes, candidates will be required to first have attempted the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) or JEE Mains (for B.Tech).

  • Candidates will be selected for the course based on their performance in the entrance exam.

In case there are vacant seats left for the specified courses, the college will directly conduct admissions based on the performance of the candidates in the qualifying exams along with an On The Spot Aptitude Test and a Personal Interview.

The selection process at KITP Kanpur for 2020 academic session for all other courses will be based on the merit of the candidates for the course. In other words, the scores obtained by the aspirant in the qualifying exam along with their performance in the “On the Spot Aptitude Test” and the personal interview will determine the admission status of the candidates.
