MNLU Nagpur Admission 2024

MNLU Nagpur admissions for the academic year 2024 have started. Admission to the UG and PG courses is based on marks obtained in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). CLAT cutoff 2024 first allotment list for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses has been out. MNLU Nagpur offers BALLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD programmes. Candidates who have successfully completed the registration process for the Admissions Counselling Process will be considered for the allotment of seats. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) conducts the CLAT exam. In addition, MNLU Nagpur also offers a doctoral programme (PhD) and admission to a PhD is granted on the basis of the All India Entrance Test (AIET).

For five-year integrated Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes, it is a must to participate in CLAT 2024. After the merit is released, candidates will receive an email invitation to participate in the Admissions Counselling Process at their registered email address. Candidates must be Class 12th pass for BALLB (Hons), while for PG, they must have graduated from a recognised university. MNLU Nagpur Admission Process 2024

MNLU Nagpur admissions application process is online. Candidates must first register for CLAT on the official website and ensure that they match the required eligibility requirements in order to be considered for admission to MNLU Nagpur. Following the announcement of the CLAT results, the consortium of NLUs publishes its merit list, which is determined by the exam scores. After their shortlisting, candidates are invited to participate in the counselling procedure. Candidates can select their desired courses and specialisations throughout the counselling process, and admission is eventually granted based on both merit and personal interview. The results of a personal interview and scores from many other national-level and government entrance tests are used to determine admission to PhD programmes. 

The MNLU Nagpur admission process includes CLAT participation, downloading the application form from the official website, filing the application form, meeting eligibility criteria, etc.

Step1 : The candidate must register for CLAT from its official website and appear for the examination. 

Step 2: Once the cutoff is released by consortium of NLUs, candidates must check if they can participate in the counselling process.

Step 3: Complete registration for the Admissions Counselling Process

Step 4: Make payment after logging in to the CLAT 2024 portal 

Step 5: After the successful payment, fill out college choices according to their priorities. They then have three options to choose from, i.e., freeze, float, and exit. 

Step 6:.Once the decision is made, they must pay the confirmation fee of approximately Rs 20,000.

Step 7: During the final admission process at the university, the candidate must carry documents such as identification card, entrance exam scorecard, Class 12 and Class 10 scorecard, passport-size photographs, transfer certificate, migration certficate, and caste certificate (if applicable).

Should you Freeze or Float to Ensure Admission in MNLU Nagpur?

CLAT 2024 first merit list is out for MNLU Nagpur admission. During the CLAT counselling process, candidates who are allotted MNLU Nagpur have the option to choose between Freeze and Float. If you are satisfied with your seat at MNLU Nagpur and do not want to participate in any further counselling rounds, you can choose the Freeze option. This confirms your seat at MNLU Nagpur and you will not be considered for any subsequent allotment lists. If you are not satisfied with your seat at MNLU Nagpur and would like to participate in further counselling rounds for a better seat at MNLU Nagpur or another NLU, you can choose the Float option. This means that you will retain your eligibility for subsequent counselling rounds and your seat at MNLU Nagpur will be temporarily held. However, if you are allotted a seat in a subsequent round that you prefer, you will lose your seat at MNLU Nagpur.

The best option for you will depend on your individual circumstances. If you are happy with your seat at MNLU Nagpur, then Freeze is the safest option. However, if you are hoping for a better seat, then Float could be a good option.
