Should you Freeze or Float to Ensure Admission in MNLU Mumbai?

CLAT 2024 first merit list is out for MNLU Mumbai admission. Selected candidates can now go for either of 2 options: freeze or float. Whether to freeze or float your seat during CLAT 2024 counseling for MNLU Mumbai depends on your circumstances and risk tolerance. The freezing option will secure your desired seat at MNLU Mumbai immediately. Floating will keep your options open for a potentially better seat in later rounds based on rank movement. If your rank is significantly higher than the MNLU Mumbai cut-off (especially for reserved categories), floating might be a safer option. However, if your rank is borderline or close to the cut-off, freezing might be preferable to secure your seat.

Candidates must know that during CLAT counselling 2023 round 1, as many as 222 students were selected provisionally for MNLU Mumbai admission. Once the round 1 counselling was over, 131 students used the freeze option, and a total of 99 seats were left vacant for MNLU Mumbai admission.
