Admissions at MJCET Hyderabad

The Muffakham Jah College Of Engineering And Technology provides admission in various specialisations available in the Bachelor in Engineering and Master in Engineering program. Students may choose any of the available branches for admission as per their career interest. Out of the total seats available for any of the program, 10% are reserved for the Muslim minority Community. The total seats available at the college also includes some reserved seats for Convener quota and Management Quota. 

Candidates opting for admission at Muffakham Jah College Of Engineering through EAMCET will have to qualify the 10 + 2 (Intermediate ) examination with chemistry, mathematics and physics as optional subjects along with the EAMCET examination. While Students opting for admission through the lateral entry will have to qualify  10 + 3 (Three years in polytechnic diploma course from the relevant stream along and he/must have qualified the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) examination.

Reservation is available at the college for students belonging from reserved categories, open category and backward class.  Candidates have to qualify all the rounds to get eligible for admission in any of the program at Muffakham Jah College Of Engineering And Technology. The final seat will be allocated to the student only if he/she clear all the criteria successfully.

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology B.E Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidate must have cleared 10 + 2 (Intermediate) with chemistry, physics and mathematics as optional subjects. Candidates belonging to Backward class or open category must have secured 45% in optional subjects(MPC) and 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 (Intermediate ) level. Candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and reserved category must have scored at least 45% aggregate and 40% in optional subjects (MPC). Candidates must have also qualified the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Government of Telangana.

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology B.E (Lateral Entry) Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidate must have cleared three years in polytechnic diploma course in relevant stream. Candidates belonging to Backward class or open category must have secured 50% aggregate. Candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories including scheduled caste and scheduled tribes must have scored at least 45% aggregate. Candidates must have also qualified the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET conducted by Government of Telangana.

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology M.E Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidate must have a bachelor degree in engineering with the relevant stream. Candidates must have also qualified the Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test(TS PGECET).

Note: The candidate must meet the Local/Non-local criteria in accordance with the 1963 Presidential Order. The candidate must have studied from the preceding academic year for five consecutive years in the state of Telangana to be recognized as local.

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology B.E, B.E (Lateral Entry), M.E Selection Process 2019

Application who have applied for admission will be sorted on the basis of scores in Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test(TS PGECET) and Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET). Selected students will be called for Interview and document verification. Aggregate percentage scored by the candidate in the 10+2 and 10th will also be considered for selection round. Final selection will be based on scores in the entrance exam and 12th/ 10th. 

Criteria of Allotment of seats

For admission in the 4 yr bachelor degree 10% of the total seats will be allotted by the Convener ECET, Government of Telangana through Single window. For admission in the bachelor degree(Lateral Entry) 20% of the sanctioned seats will be allotted by the Convener ECET, Government of Telangana.

The 30% of the seats for admission at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET), Hyderabad is reserved for management quota admissions as prescribed by the Government of Telangana.

The tuition fee through regular quota at MJ is INR 82,000 per year. While the management quota fee will be decided by the management committee of the institute. 

The management quota admission at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET), Hyderabad is conducted around the month of May to June every year. The official dates for admission 2020 have not been out yet due to the pandemic situation and you are advised to stay updated with College Dekho and official website for the same.
