Step 5 – Confirmation of Seat

• Candidates must have cleared the 10+2 level examination from any of the recognized University or Board or intermediate examination of UP Board from any recognised university or board with at least 45% marks in total of subject combination (two compulsory & one optional subject). 
• Candidates belonging from any of the reserved categories including SC and ST must have scored at least 40% marks. 
• While candidates belonging from NRI or management quota must have passed an intermediate or equivalent examination (10 + 2) with at least 60 per cent marks (2 mandatory and 1 optional subject) from any recognised board/university with at least 40 per cent marks in each paper.

 B.Tech (Lateral Entry) 

• Candidates must have cleared three years. Diploma in engineering from an institute situated in Uttar Pradesh with at least 45% aggregate. Candidates belonging from any of the reserved categories need to score at least 40% marks. OR
• Candidates must have cleared a three-year B.Sc degree and had passed XII standards with mathematics as one of the main subjects with at least 45% marks from any of the recognized University. Candidates belonging from any of the reserved categories need to score at least 40% marks.

NIET, Greater Noida Selection Process 2023 (All Courses)

• Admission to the college is done from 2 sources including the UPSEE counselling and Direct Admission. 
• Candidates who have appeared for the UPSEE entrance examination and appeared in the online counselling, need to opt NIETas the preferred choice in any of the branches we offer. 
• While candidates who have opted for direct admission will have to appear for the Objective type Aptitude / English test. The college will conduct an objective type Math test for B.Tech. applications(Students applying for Biotech branch are exempted from Math test). After that, all the students will be called for final interview which will be conducted face to face. 
• Candidates will receive a notification regarding their admission status. 
• If the candidate is found eligible on verification and successfully compete in the selection round, they will receive the Registration Form to take Provisional Admission on payment of the required fee. 
• Admission decisions for all programs are based on scholastic aptitude, success score in selection rounds and suitability to take the required course provided the student fulfils the eligibility criteria as specified in the brochures in terms of qualifying cumulative percentage /marks/grades in your qualification up to date.

• Candidates must have completed the bachelor degree in technology (B.Tech) with at least 60% aggregate from a recognised Institute or University. 
• Candidates who have completed MCA degree with at least 60% aggregate are also eligible for admission into the M.Tech degree.

MCA Eligibility Criteria :

• Candidates must have cleared a bachelor degree having a minimum duration of three years from any of the recognised Indian University or its equivalent recognised by AIU with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 
• Candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories must have scored at least 45% marks. 
• In addition to this, the candidate must have cleared the mathematics degree at 10+2 level or graduation level. 

MCA (Lateral Entry) Eligibility Criteria :

• Candidates must hold a bachelor degree with a minimum three-year duration in B.Sc (Computer Science/ Information Technology), BCA from any of the recognised university or its equivalent recognised by AIU with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 
• Candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories must have scored at least 45% marks. 
• In addition to this, the candidate must have cleared the mathematics degree at 10+2 level or graduation level. 

B.Pharm

• Candidates belonging to General or OBC category must have cleared 10+2 level examination or the intermediate examination of UP or its equivalent from any of the recognised University/ Board with at least 50% marks in total of the required subject combinations either in Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Physics, Chemistry and Biology. • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible for admission which is subjected to the fulfilment of the criteria of education, age and physical fitness etc as prescribed by the examining body during counselling/admission. 
• Candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories must have scored at least 45% marks. 

B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)

• Candidates belonging to General or OBC category must have cleared Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education/or its equivalent. 
• Candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories must have scored at least 45% marks. 

• Candidates must have cleared the B.Pharma with at least 60% marks. 
• Candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories must have scored at least 55% marks. 
• Candidates with valid GPAT Score will be preferred and will be awarded stipend as per AICTE norms.

• Candidates must have cleared three years degree from any of the recognised university with at least 50% marks. • Candidates who have cleared the bachelor degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects from any of the recognized by AIU/UGC or AICTE or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
