PRIST University Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

PRIST University Madurai, also known as Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science & Technology offers admissions to various UG, PG and doctoral programmes. The university is affiliated with the AICTE, UGC, and MHRD and is accredited by the NAAC. 

PRIST University courses offered are UG, PG, Research, Full/Part-Time and Distance Education programmes in the field of Arts & Science, Engineering & Technology, Commerce & Management, Law, Agriculture, Architecture and Computer Applications. On visiting the official website and the selection of admissions tab, an application form will appear. You need to fill up the form with all the necessary details, the course you are interested to study, upload all the required documents, and cross-check the eligibility criteria. 

On submission of the PRIST University application form, an application fee should be paid online as a final step for the application form to be processed. Based on the application forms for admission submitted by the applicants, the officials of PRIST University shortlist the candidates based on the qualifying exam scores. Consequently, a final list is prepared on a merit basis. The candidates on the final merit list are called for the final selection process.

PRIST University Admissions Through Entrance Exams (JEE/NATA/GATE/CAT)

PRIST Madurai entrance exam scores are based on admissions to courses. The exams accepted by the university for M.Tech, M.B.A., B.Arch and B.Tech courses are GATE, CAT, NATA, and JEE. Exams are also conducted for some specific courses. The entrance exams are written about the specific course. If not, then PRIST entrance exams like the PEE/ PPE should be written. 

PRIST University Madurai admission requires the student to pass the cut-off marks set by the board to get admission. The cut-off marks set by the boards are considered for admission to the specific courses, without which candidates will not be selected for admission. Once the eligibility criteria are met by the candidates for the specific courses, counselling is arranged by the respective boards.

PRIST University International Admissions 

PRIST University application process is the same as Indian students. But after the International students receive the acceptance letter, they need to apply for an Indian visa. The scanned copy of the visa needs to be mailed to the admissions office at PRIST. Many other formalities are displayed on the official website. 

Thus international students are required to check for the same. Students are requested to report 2-3 days before the commencement of classes. There are a few other formalities that need to be done post-arrival. After all, this is completed; they can begin their program at PRIST.
