RITM Lucknow Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

In 2002, the Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management was founded. It is in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and has received AICTE approval.

At the UG level, RITM provides B.Tech and B.Pharm, while at the PG level, it offers M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA, and PGDM. The institute also provides diploma programmes including the D.Pharma and Engineering Diploma. 

Based on the UPSEE score, all courses are admitted through UPSEE counselling. GATE scores for M.Tech, GPAT scores for M.Pharm, and CAT/MAT scores for MBA are also accepted by the institute. For the PGDM, RITM takes into account the results of management entrance exams like the CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, etc. 

The JEECUP test is required for students to be admitted to the Engineering Diploma programme. The eligible candidates will be contacted for JEECUP counselling, where they will be assigned a seat for admission, based on their score.

The B.Tech programme at RITM is well-known, and the school has seen the most placements for it. Some MBA and Engineering diploma students were hired by well-known companies.

How to apply for RITM Lucknow admission 2023?

On the UPSEE website's official application page, candidates must submit their applications. Following is a list of the steps:

• Visit the official UPSEE website.
• To apply for the specified course, click on the link for the application form.
• By providing your basic information, you may register for the exam.
• In order to log in later, you'll also need to create a username and password.
• Fill out the application form by going forward.
• Add all the necessary information to the form, along with your scanned signature and photo.
• After carefully completing the application, submit it.
• Pay the application fee that is necessary.
• Take a printout of the application as a last step for future use.
• The candidate must take part in the counselling procedure and select Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management as their top option after the UPSEE results are announced.

Please Note : Candidates for the Engineering Diploma must complete the online application form on the JEECUP website.

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with PCM and received at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) of the possible points.

Please Note - Candidates for B.Tech Lateral Entry must have an Engineering Diploma or a B.Sc. with a minimum of 50%.

Eligibility for RITM Lucknow B.Pharm

Candidates must have completed their intermediate examinations, or an equivalent, with PCM/PCB and at least 50% of the available points (45% for SC/ST).

Please Note - Candidates who completed their D.Pharm exam with at least 60% of the possible points are qualified for B.Pharm Lateral Entry, providing they took and passed the UPSEE test.

RITM UG Selection Criteria

• Candidates must pass the UPSEE test in order to be admitted to B.Tech. and B.Pharm. programmes.
• According to the UPSEE rank list, the qualifying applicants will be invited to the UPSEE Counselling.
• Using their UPSEE application number and password, candidates must register online for the counselling round, pay the counselling fee, and upload any supporting documentation that needs to be verified.
• Following verification, students must continue to fill out their preferred course and college (RIMT Lucknow).
• The Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management must be chosen by students for their college.
• The responsible authority will subsequently take into account the selections made, the rank attained, and the seat available in order to assign seats to applicants.
• If the allocation pleases the person receiving it, they must confirm their seat.
• In order to satisfy the remaining admission requirements, candidates must finally show up at the designated college with their documentation.

RITM PG Eligibility

Eligibility for M.Tech

Students must hold a B.Tech degree in the desired field from an accredited institution with at least 60% (or 55% for SC/ST students) in order to pursue an M.Tech degree there.

Eligibility for M.Pharm

Applicants seeking admission to the M.Pharm programme must have a B.Pharm degree with at least 60% (55% for SC/ST applicants).

RITM PG Selection Criteria

• Based on their UPSEE results, the institute will admit students to its M.Tech. and M.Pharm. programmes.
• However, applicants for admission to the M.Tech. and M.Pharm. programmes are also taken into consideration if they have a valid GATE or GPAT score.
• The UPSEE Counselling must be actively participated in by the qualifying candidates.
• Candidates must register, submit their documentation, pay the counselling cost, and fill out their course and college preferences during the counselling session.
• According to the rank, selections made, and availability of seats, seats will be assigned to qualified students.
• Such students must confirm their seat before reporting to the designated institution for the remainder of the admissions procedure.

RITM MBA and PGDM Eligibility

A Bachelor's degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST students) is the prerequisite for the MBA and PGDM programmes.

RITM MBA and PGDM Selection Criteria

• A student's UPSEE test result determines whether or not they are admitted to MBA and PGDM programmes.
• Candidates who have passed the CAT or MAT are also taken into consideration for MBA admission. While those who have passed any of the management exams, such as the CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc., are admitted to the PGDM programme.
• Such applicants must also take part in the UPSEE counselling, for which they must register online and then fill out the course and college selection forms.
• The responsible authority will distribute seats based on the qualifying exam rank and choices made.
• Students who have been assigned a seat must confirm it before reporting to the institution to finish the remaining entrance requirements.

Engineering Diploma and D.Pharm

A total of 60 students may enrol in each of the four specialisations listed under the Engineering Diploma in the table.

Eligibility

Students must have earned 50% or above on the 10+2 exam or its equivalent (45% for SC/ST students).

Please Note - Candidates who wish to pursue an Engineering Diploma at RITM Lucknow must have received a PCM 10+2 diploma. While candidates for the D.Pharm degree must have earned a 10+2 PCM or PCB diploma.

RITM Diploma Selection Criteria

• Based on the JEECUP result, the institute grants admission for the Engineering Diploma programme through JEECUP Counselling.
• While RITM takes into account UPSEE results when granting admission to the D.Pharm programme.
• Candidates will be able to fill out their course and college choices during the counselling session.
• Candidates are assigned seats based on these options and their qualifying exam ranking.
• Students must confirm their assigned seat if they are happy with their seat assignment.
• They must then report to the college to finish the remaining paperwork.
