School of Aeronautics admission procedure is quite simple as there is a dedicated wing known as the admission cell which handles everything ranging from initial documentation to onboarding of students to different courses. Admission cell is situated within the campus and the candidate can reach out to them at any point of time for any queries like scholarships, the fees of a certain course, and many more.

Eligibility for B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering & Mechatronics Engineering) and Integrated programme of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) + AME :

• Candidate clear 10+2/intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (percentage as per AICTE norms)
• For lateral entry in the Integrated programme of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) & B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) programme + AME

Students with a diploma in Engineering with 50% marks in the following branches are eligible :

Diploma in Production, Mechanical and Electronics, Industri and Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation and Control, Aeronautical Engineering, and Telecommunication Engg.

Eligibility for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering:

•   Candidate clear 10+2 /intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
•   Diploma in Engineering with 50% marks. / B.Sc in PCM.

b.) Minimum Height for Men - 170 cms and Women - 155 cms.

c.) Clear 10+2 with the recognised board.

d.) Physical features: good eyesight, clear complexion (scars, pimples, and blemishes not acceptable) and pleasing personality.

e.) Nationality - Indian

Like any other university, even the School of Aeronautics has a set of specific selection criteria that students need to meet in order to be eligible for getting admission. Here are the main pointers that candidates must fulfil to get a seat in this institution:

Submission - The first step is to submit the application form with all the necessary details. All applicants can submit a hard copy of the application form or fill in the online application form available on the website. To submit the application on paper, you will have to either get the application form, from the College office or download and print a PDF version from the college website.

Evaluation - The application form is then evaluated by the admission committee and students are asked to come for an interview at the college campus / appear for the college entrance test at different centres throughout the country. 

Interview - The interview process would help us to know more about the student's personality, interests, and achievements.

Selection - The successful students (through interview/entrance test) will be intimated about their admission to the School of Aeronautics. They will also be sent a pre-induction kit.

Candidates who wish to participate in the School of Aeronautics application process in 2021 must complete an application form, which may be completed either online or offline. Before submitting an application to any of the programmes, candidates must first determine whether or not they meet the eligibility standards listed on the official website. The prospectus (together with the application form) may be obtained from the main institute for candidates who choose to apply via the offline method. Candidates must then complete and submit the application form with all of the required documentation. It is necessary for candidates to present their original documents to the interview, as well as self-attested photocopies of the same, in order to have their credentials validated.

How to get Admission to the School of Aeronautics for various courses in 2023?

Candidates need to log on to the official portal and select the course they want to apply for. The candidate would also need to present all the relevant documents or attach them with the form itself.

There is a nominal fee of Rs 1000 which is to be paid while submitting the application form. It is to be noted that this fee is non-refundable even if the candidate doesn’t take admission to this institute.

Meeting the eligibility criteria of the School of Aeronautics is one of the most crucial aspects of the School of Aeronautics admission process. If one fails to meet any of the criteria put up by the desired college, he/she can lose out on the chance of getting a seat. 1. 10+2 with a minimum of 50%: This criterion has to be fulfilled for the B.Tech course at the School of Aeronautics. This is a four-year course and both full-time and part-time options are available under this course. Candidates who have completed diplomas can take a lateral entry into the B. Tech course if they have 50% aggregate in their diploma programme.

Specialization under B.Tech – B.Tech (Aeronautical) with Specialisation in Maintenance + AME, B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, B.Tech in Mechatronics.

School of Aeronautics Eligibility for Certificate Programmes

• 10 + 2 with 50% aggregate – This criterion is to be fulfilled by candidates who want to secure admission to the School of Aeronautics in the Certificate programme. The candidate should be in the age group of 18 to 27 and know English and Hindi Language fluently. The course is for a period of 12 to 18 months.

School of Aeronautics International Admission 2023:

Owing to its popularity and innovation and research-driven approach, it's no surprise that the School of Aeronautics attracts a lot of international students. There is a separate division for the International Students which successfully manages study and research partnerships, enables various collaborative programs, helps with building alliances, international marketing and recruitment, along with making way for enrolments and other student services. The division also has to coordinate the faculty and student exchange programs of the University. It is also responsible for ensuring that all the international students have a positive experience while embarking on their exciting academic journey.

Eligibility Criteria for School of Aeronautics Admission 2023

• If the foreign student does not have an English subject, the candidate should have scored 60 in the TOEFL or a band of 6.05 in IELTS.
• The rest of the criteria remain the same as that for Indian students.

No entrance exam is required for any of the courses at the School of Aeronautics.
