SOIL Institute of Management Admission 2023

The SOIL Gurgaon admission 2023 is ongoing for PGPM, PGPM HR and PGDM programmes. The deadline to submit an application for these courses is January 21, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online on the SOIL Institute of Management admission portal.

The XAT 2023 will take place for the SOIL Institute of Management admission process 2023 on January 8, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The XAT 2023 admit card was made available on December 20, 2022, via the official website. Logging into the official website will allow candidates to download it. The XAT 2023 result will be made public on January 31, 2023.

Registration is currently open for the MAT 2023 February session for both PBT and CBT. February 14, 2023, is the deadline for MAT PBT applications. The due dates for MAT CBT test 1 and 2 are February 21, 2023, and February 27, 2023, respectively. Depending on the day of the IBT exam, the final registration date for the IBT mode will differ.

On December 21, 2022, at 5:00 PM, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore announced the CAT 2022 Result on the official website. The CAT Exam 2022 for the SOIL Gurgaon MBA admission was held on November 27, 2022. Candidates who took the exam can now access the CAT Result 2022 on iimcat.ac.in. The CAT Result Scorecard 2022 is available in PDF format. Candidates can log in with their application ID and password to download the results. Take a printout as well.

  • All candidates must have appeared for the GMAT /CAT /XAT /MAT.
  • Candidates with less than five years of work experience are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates have to submit multiple exam scores from which the institute will select the best score during the shortlisting process.
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university. It can be three, four or five years long. Streams like Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, etc. are accepted.

SOIL Institute of Management Admission Criteria: PGPM and PGPM HR

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university with a minimum of 50%.
  • 60% or up in 10+2 qualifying exam is required.
  • At least two years of work experience is required for the PGPM course.

SOIL Institute of Management Application Process 2023

The application process is slightly different for the PGDM and PGPM courses. The application mode is online and has to be done on the official SOIL Gurgaon admission portal (app.soil.edu.in). SOIL Institute of Management Admission Process: PGDM

  • Candidates must submit an online application by paying the SOIL Gurgaon application fee 
  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on their entrance exam results and past academic record (CAT, MAT, XAT or GMAT) and relevant work experience.
  • Candidates will be contacted regarding their shortlisting through email or SMS to their registered email or phone number.
  • Candidates have to attend a Design Thinking Workshop which will be a half-day programme where they will solve problems based on a real-life setting. This will give an impression of the students' inventive and imaginative approach to problem-solving, teaching, and learning techniques.
  • By a panel of industry experts and SOIL Institute of Management faculty, personal interviews will be conducted.
  • Candidates will be selected based on past academic scores, extra-curricular achievements, work experience, exam scores, performance in the workshop and personal interview session.
  • Candidates who have been chosen will get notification of their selection through email, along with details about admission requirements and how to pay the SOIL Gurgaon admission fees.

How to Apply for SOIL Gurgaon PGDM course?

  • Fill out the Online Application form.
  • Create an account by putting in the required details. 
  • You will receive a unique account ID and password. 
  • Re-login into your account, by using them and complete the registration process. 
  • Fill out all the details: academic, personal, work experience, etc.
  • Put CAT, XAT or GMAT registration details and upload the scorecard.

  • After finishing filling out the SOIL Institute of Management application form and sending an updated resume, within 72 hours, the PGPM admissions office will respond with a thorough report of the profile review.
  • Candidates will be narrowed down based on their overall profiles, past academic success, and relevant employment experience.
  • Candidates' registered phone number and email address will get detailed emails or SMS messages informing them whether they were shortlisted.
  • After that, candidates will take the SOIL Talent Appreciation Test (STAT). 
  • The following four personality traits of the candidates will be taken into account during this test: Leadership potential, Reasoning and Ideation potential, Relationship building potential and Self-Leadership potential.
  • A senior member of the industry and a member of the faculty will interview the candidates personally in the following round. The interview will be about their background, and how the MBA programme suits their plans and aspirations. 
  • The candidates will be informed of the outcomes of their selection in four weeks. 
  • Candidates who are chosen must pay Rs 2 lakh within 10 days of the SOIL Institute of Management result announcement to reserve their place.
  • The test and interview will be scheduled by the SOIL Gurgaon admissions committee according to the candidate's selected dates.
  • Essays will also be needed of candidates in order to assess their compatibility with SOIL.
  • Candidates will receive information on the format of the online interviews at their registered email addresses.
  • The 45-minute interview will include questions on the candidate's background and goals.

SOIL Institute of Management Selection Process 2023

For selection candidates must meet the basic eligibility criteria and have valid entrance exam results which will be required during the shortlisting process. If the students meet the cutoff list they will proceed to the personal interview session which will determine their final selection for the institution.
