SP Jain School of Global Management BBA and BBC Eligibility Criteria 2020

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Communication are two popular undergraduate management courses that are offered at SP Jain Global. Candidates who are interested in pursuing either of these programmes must check if they meet the SP Jain School of Global Management BBA or BBC eligibility criteria. The institute considers only those students for admission who qualify all the conditions set for admission. The SP Jain Global eligibility criteria for BBA and BBC have been given below.

  • The candidate must have completed his/ her education up to class 12th. Students who have completed their high school/ junior college/ secondary school or some equivalent form of secondary education are eligible for the programmes of BBA and BBC.
  • Students from all streams and disciplines can apply for admission.
  • The aggregate marks scored by the candidate at the higher secondary level must not be less than 60 per cent if he/ she has obtained the degree under the CBSE or the ISC board. Students from any state board of education will be required to have at least 70 per cent marks in aggregate.
  • The domestic (Australian) applicants must possess an NSW Higher School Certificate or its interstate equivalent with a minimum ATAR of 70.
  • Those who have an International Baccalaureate Diploma score of 24 or have completed an international qualification in which the content, level and intended outcomes are considered to be equivalent to any of the above through mapping of equivalence by the School or official qualification recognition register can also apply. Candidates who have completed an approved course at either the diploma level or the Associate Diploma level at a TAFE or registered training organisation (RTO) are also considered eligible.
  • All the candidates will also be required to provide an acceptable proof of their proficiency in the English language. The IELTS overall score of 6, with no band less than 5.5 is accepted. Likewise for TOEFL, an iBT score of 60 overall, with no band less than 20 and PTE score of 50, with no band less than 45 are considered acceptable.
  • Additionally, all applicants will have to appear either for SAT or for the entrance exam of SPJET.

SP Jain School of Global Management BBA and BBC Selection Process 2020

The selection process for BBA and BBC at SP Jain Global is carried out in many rounds. The students are shortlisted on the basis of their scores and overall academic performance. They must have a SAT score of 1200+ or an ACT score of 23 in order to be shortlisted for admission. The scores of the candidates in SPJET also determines if he/ she will be called for further rounds or not. Later on, the shortlisted candidates are called for a round of personal interview. The institute prepares a merit list based on the performance of the applicant in all the rounds and gives preference to the ones who have scored higher marks as compared to others.

The courses of Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Data Science are among the extremely popular undergraduate programmes of SP Jain Global. It is only after qualifying all the prerequisites that the students are considered for admission.

  • All interested applicants must have completed their education up to the higher secondary level. It is mandatory for them to complete their high school/ junior college/ secondary school or some equivalent form of secondary education from a recognised authority.
  • Mathematics must be a compulsory subject of the students at the higher secondary level.
  • Students from all streams can apply for these UG courses at SP Jain Global.
  • For students from the CBSE or the ISC boards, the aggregate score should not be any less than 60 per cent. Whereas students belonging to any state board of education are required to have scored a minimum of 70 per cent marks in aggregate.

The selection process for BEC and BDS at SP Jain Global begins after the applications are closed and is done in many rounds. The students are first shortlisted on the basis of their scores and overall academic performance. They must have a SAT score of 1200+ or an ACT score of 23 in order to be shortlisted for admission. The candidates who have not appeared for SAT and have given the SPJET are judged on the basis of their scores in that exam. Further, rounds of personal interview and written test are held. Students who do not meet the conditions for mathematics in SPJET or SAT are required to sit for a Maths exam prepared by the institute. Once all the rounds are completed, SP Jain Global prepares a merit list based on the performance of the applicant in all the rounds in which preference is given to the ones who have scored higher marks than the others.

Three programmes of MBA are offered at the SP Jain School of Global Management: Global Master of Business Administration )Global MBA), Executive MBA, and Master of Global Business. All of them are unique programmes of Master of Business Management that are provided for students who are at different stages in their lives. The curriculum and purpose of all three MBA programmes at SP Jain School of Global Management are different from each other. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for MBA at SP Jain Global before they apply for admission. The eligibility requirements of all the postgraduate management courses have been given below.

  • The candidate must have completed his/ her graduation from a recognised university or college.
  • For Executive MBA, the candidates should have work experience of over three years while for Global MBA and Master in Global Business work experience of almost three years is mandatory.
  • Students who have graduate degrees like that of Chartered Accountancy (CA) are given preference for Executive MBA.
  • No restrictions are there regarding the background of the student. Candidates from all streams and disciplines can apply for these programmes.
  • An acceptable proof of proficiency in the English language will also be asked for from the students. An IELTS score of at least 6.5 is mandatory. Students may opt to appear for the Academic or General IELTS test. Those who have given TOEFL should have a minimum iBT score of 70 and candidates who have appeared for the Pearson Test of English (PTE) are required to have a score of at least 60.
  • Additionally, students aspiring to get admission to Global MBA or Master of Global Business must have appeared for an entrance test that is accepted by the institute. These exams include GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test), GRE (Graduate Record Examination), CAT (Common Admission Test), and SPJAT (SP Jain Aptitude Test).

Meal costs are not included in the accommodation charges of SP Jain School of Global Management, Dubai. As per the estimate provided by the institute, around AED 700 (approx. Rs. 14,000) per month are usually spent towards food and other living costs. This has to be borne by the student.
