• Minimum age for admission will be 17 years (as on 31st December of that year)
• The upper age limit is 35 years
• Minimum education is 10+2 class pass with 40% marks
• 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST students.
• Students shall be medically fit

HSC passed or equivalent examination from a recognized university or board. Duration of DMLT course is 2 years. There are also other certification courses in lab technicians which needs HSC as the eligibility. DMLT Courses are offered by colleges, universities as well as hospitals. The hospitals are usually affiliated with a college or university.
