Sri Sai Group Of Institutes (SIET), Amritsar Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

The application process for Sri Sai Group of Institutes Amritsar is completely online. Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the SSGI Amritsar application process:

SSGI Amritsar Admission Procedure:

1. Visit the SSGI Amritsar official website

2. Click on “APPLY ONLINE” 

3. Chose the class you are seeking admission to.

4. Fill in all the basic required fields like name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, mobile number, and/or e-mail id., and click submit.

5. On successful registration you will be given a Username and Password on-screen. Note it down. Please keep it safe and secret. It is required to continue further to complete the application form and for use in the future too.

6. On registration an SMS  will be sent to registered Mobile No. containing your Registration No./login ID and password for future purposes.

7. Complete the application form by filling in the required fields starting with the choice of class you are seeking admission to and then complete your personal profile, like category, annual family income, etc. and click Save.

8. Make a choice of reservation main category (and sub-category on the right side for armed forces/sports/handicapped) if you want to take SSGI Amritsar admission against reserve seats and then save the information by clicking on save.

9. You will choose the compulsory and optional subjects for admission by clicking Add Subjects of Selected Class button after selecting the row of the class of admission.

10. Fill in lower exam details starting with the 12th exam results and then the next higher classes one by one you have passed by clicking the Add Lower Exam Details button, Uni./Board name and Panjab University Registration number (for old students only who are already registered with University), Last exam passed, Exam Roll number, marks obtained in exam passed etc.

11. All fields marked with red* are compulsory.

12. Click Save every time you complete a part of the admission form to save the information you have filled.

13. Click Add/Update if you want to change any information you have wrongly entered in the form. Change, if any, must be done before the last date to apply. You can not edit/alter the information after the last date of the online application for admission.

14. The candidate may check the status of their application in the merit/rank list on the following day of the closing of the date of applying for a particular class.

15. If certificates are found in order by the admission committee, the candidate needs to submit fees the same day, else seat will be given to the next student on the merit list.

SSGI Amritsar Registration Application Form Fee Refund Policy

The SSGI Amritsar application fee is non-refundable. However, exceptions may be made based on the following circumstances:

1. More than one payment is rendered for the same application number.
2. A candidate paid the fee online but did not get the application form due to connection failure and SSGI Amritsar is not able to provide a softcopy of the application form.

Note: For online payments, it is important for candidates to note the transaction number for future reference and request for any type of Refund, for whatsoever reason, will be at the sole discretion of the SSGI Amritsar.

Candidates willing to take admission in the SSGI Amritsar should definitely check their eligibility before applying for the course. The Course Eligibility is given below in detail for UG, PG and Diploma courses. 

SSGI Amritsar Diploma Course Admission Eligibility 

• Diploma in Engineering: It is a three-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course are the candidate should be 10th Pass. 
• Diploma in Engineering (LEET): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course is 10+2 in Vocational, 10+2 in Non-Medical and I.T.I
• Diploma in Pharmacy: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course is 10+2 for Science Group Students Only.
• Dl.Ed.(ETT): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course are the candidate should be 10th Pass.
• DCA: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course are the candidate should be 10th Pass.

Bachelor of Pharmacy: It is a four-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course is All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by the Central/State Government through legislation with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology shall be eligible to apply. Further, as per AICTE Guidelines, the candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in the case of the candidate belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Or All those candidates who have passed the Diploma Pharmacy from an institute affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training/Punjabi University, Patiala, or any other University or any State Board of Technical Education provided that the diploma or the institute duly approved by the PCI / AICTE.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma)-Lateral Entry: It is a three-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course are (i) All those candidates who have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution affiliated to the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training/Punjabi University, Patiala or any other University or any State Board of Technical Education shall be eligible to apply. Further, the diploma in Pharmacy and the institute where the candidate has studied must be duly approved by the Pharmacy Council of India/AICTE. Also, the Candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above-mentioned qualifying Examination. 

(ii) Students directly admitted to the Pharmacy 2nd year have to pass those subjects of B.Pharmacy 1styear which have not been covered under D.Pharmacy.

BCA:  It is a three-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course are that All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board /University/Council. OR Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination AND have also passed a three-year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.

BBA: It is a three-year course. The Eligibility Criteria for this course are that All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council. Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination AND have also passed a three-year diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh, or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.

B.Sc Agriculture (honors): It is a four-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are All those candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science/Agriculture with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Agriculture with at least 50% Marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category). 

BHMCT: It is a four-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council. Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination and have also passed a three-year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh, or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.

B.Sc (IT): It is a three-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are that All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council. Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination And have also passed a three-year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.

B.Com (Honours): It is a three-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are Having passed atleast+2 examination of the Punjab School Education Board or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least: 33% marks in the aggregate in the case of commerce students who have passed the 10+2 examination Or 40% for the students who have opted for two of the following commerce subjects in 10+2(a) Accountancy (b) Business Studies (c) Economics (d) Mathematics (e) Office Management and Secretarial Practice (f) Principle and Practice of Insurance (g) Tax Procedure and Practice or 45% for other candidates.

BA (JAMC): It is a three-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are that all those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/ Council. Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination AND have also passed a three-year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal. 

B.Ed: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that Candidates with at least 50% Marks either in Bachelor's degree and/or in Master's Degree in Science /Social Science/Humanities, Commerce/Home Science/BBA/BCA or any other qualifications equivalent. 

BA: It is a three-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/ Council.

B.Sc (Economics): It is a three-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/ Council.

B.Sc. (IT) (Lateral Entry): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed the Matriculation examination and have also passed 3 Year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal, or 10+2 with 1-year Diploma in Computer Application/ IT (or equivalent) from a recognized University with Mathematics as the course at 10+2 or DIT/DCA level.

BCA (Lateral Entry): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed the Matriculation examination and have also passed 3 Year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal, or 10+2 with 1-year Diploma in Computer Application/IT (or equivalent) from a recognized University with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 or DIT/DCA level. 

B.Tech LEET Lateral Entry Scheme: It is a three-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are (i) All those candidates who have passed the Diploma examination from an AICTE-approved institution and have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in the case of Candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology shall be eligible to apply. (ii) All those candidates who have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject shall be eligible to apply. (a) Students who have passed B.Sc. A degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC shall clear the subject of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first-year engineering program along with second-year subjects. (b)Students belonging to B.Sc. Stream may further note that they shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream. 

B.Tech. 1st Year: It is a four-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course are All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by central/state government through legislation with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:-1. Chemistry 2. Biotechnology 3. Computer Science 4. Biology the seats of B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) remain vacant after the central counseling the seat may be filled with the candidates having the following qualifications also:-10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:-1. Mathematics 2. Biotechnology 3. Computer Science 4. BiologyORThose candidates who have passed a diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education. Or The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible. 

M.Pharmacy (Full Time): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed B.Pharma with at least 55% (50% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate and with valid GPAT-2018 score shall be eligible to apply for master’s program in Pharmacy (M.Pharma) Course. In case candidates with valid GPAT-2018 Score are not available the seats shall be filled on the basis of interview and merit in the qualifying examination.

MCA: It is a three-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed any recognized Bachelor’s degree of a minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)at the qualifying Examination.

MCA-Lateral Entry: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

MBA: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed a bachelor's Degree of a minimum three-year duration in any discipline from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and with a valid rank in CMAT shall be eligible to apply for the MBA course. In case candidates with valid CMAT Scores are not available the seats shall be filled on the basis of inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination. 

M.Ed: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed program should have obtained at least 50% marks (45 % for SC/ST) or equivalent grades in the following programs: 1. Bed. 2. (BA.B, Ed),(BSc.B, Ed) 3. B.EL.Ed. 4. D.El.Ed. 

M.Sc. (Chemistry): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed B.Sc. with 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a University recognized by UGC. 

M.Sc (IT): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed any recognized bachelor’s degree of a minimum three years duration with Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics/Quantitative Techniques/Computer Science/Information Technology as compulsory/Optional/additional paper as one of the subjects either at 10+2 or at graduation level. Or PGDCA /BCA/B.Sc. (IT).

M.Sc. (IT) (Lateral Entry): It is a one-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed PGDCA or equivalent with 50% Marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) in aggregate from a University recognized by UGC.

M.Sc. (Maths): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed B.A./B.Sc. or equivalent from a recognized University with Mathematics as one of the major subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc. (Physics): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is that All those candidates who have passed B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) in aggregate from a University recognized by UGC.

M.Tech. Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.

M.Tech. Structural Engineering: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.

M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering/IT. 

M.Tech Mechanical Engineering (Production Engg.): It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Manufacturing/Welding/Material Science/Metallurgy Engineering.

M.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/Applied Electronics/Instrumentation & Control/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/M.Sc. in Physics (with specialization in Electronics). 

M.Tech Power Engineering: It is a two-year course. The Eligibility criteria for this course is B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical/Electronics & Instrumentation/Applied Electronics/Instrumentations & Control/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
