TIAD, Delhi offers a number of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in areas such as music, art, design, dance and fashion. The institute has prescribed definite criteria for all its courses, admission to which is based on performance in an entrance exam, GD and PI. Before applying for admission to the institute, candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria of the concerned course. Candidates seeking admission to any of the available courses at TIAD, Delhi shall follow the steps given below to apply to the institute:

• Procure the prospectus along with the application form from the institute by paying INR 1000 (by post- INR 1050) or download the same by visiting the institute’s official website.

• Submit the fee through demand draft/cash/cheque, drawn in favour of ‘Tecnia Institute of  Art and Design’ payable at Delhi.

Documents Required for TIAD Delhi Application Process 2020

Candidates must have the below-mentioned documents for successful admission at TIAD Delhi:

• Character certificate of the Institute last attended or from a Gazetted Officer

• Mark sheet of the last qualifying exam

• Xth standard certificate as a proof of date of birth

• Migration Certificate

• Two sets of attested photocopies of the above documents

• Photographs of the students

•  Address proof

• 2 photographs of parents/ local guardians

TIAD Delhi BFA Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria will be able to apply for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) course at Tecnia Institute of Art and Design (TIAD), Delhi:

• Must not be more than 26 years of age.

• Must have qualified 10+2 in any stream with not less than 45% marks in aggregate.

Students interested in applying for TIAD Delhi’s Bachelor of Fashion Designing programme must have passed 10+2 in any stream with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Candidates seeking admission to the 4-year Bachelor of Performing Arts programme in Music/Dance must sure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria as under:

• Must have passed 10+2 in any stream with not less than 45% marks in aggregate.

• Must not be more than 27 years of age (not applicable to female candidates). A three-year upper age limit relaxation will be offered to SC, ST and OBC candidates. 

Only candidates who satisfy the following eligibility conditions can apply for the Master of Fine Arts programme offered at Tecnia Institute of Art and Design (TIAD), Delhi:

• Must have completed the programme of Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

• Must not be more than 30 years of age (no age bar for female applicants).

The eligibility criteria for various diploma and advance diploma programmes offered at Tecnia Institute of Art and Design (TIAD), Delhi will vary from course to course. The same shall be as under:

• Must have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

• For Diploma in Vocal Music/Tabla/Kathak Dance/Bharatnatyam Dance, applicants need to have passed 3rd standard with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

TIAD Delhi Selection Process 2020

(Common for All Courses)

Admission to all the courses offered at Tecnia Institute of Art and Design (TIAD), Delhi will be based on an entrance test, group discussion and personal interview conducted by the institute. Results of the same will be declared a day after the exam is conducted. As part of the admission process, TIAD Delhi will also conduct a counselling session at the institute.
