The University of Applied Sciences is Germany's private university established in 2017. The university has three campuses in Germany (Iserlohn, Berlin and Hamburg) that offer numerous courses in the fields of media & communication, business & management, sports, art, design and many more. University of Applied Sciences is accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities. The University is known internationally as one of the top 10 universities in business studies and a pioneer in international orientation.

Infrastructure, Campus and Courses

University of Applied Sciences Europe campus resides at the very center of the multicultural metropolis. The Berlin Campus is a creative gathering place where students and teachers from many different countries and disciplines meet and learn from each other. All the courses offered by the University of Applied Sciences are accredited by FIBAA and Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency. There are various interdisciplinary courses and dual degree programmes that may help students get more skills and meet the demands of the job market. The programmes offered at the University inculcate relevant skills, decision-making ability, leadership qualities and social skills with the help of flexible and modern pedagogical concepts.

Covid-19 Response

The University of Applied Sciences Europe, Germany is committed to providing world-class education along with all the necessary innovative health and safety measures to welcome both current and prospective students in the current academic year. Students, may, however, be required to start their studies online and continue on-campus whenever it will be safer.

  • If students are not able to travel to campus due to travel restrictions or health concerns, they may be able to continue their studies online.

  • The university has been successfully delivering courses in online mode through live teaching, wellbeing and career services, as well as ongoing student support services. This route is ideal for students who are planning on transferring to face-to-face learning when the circumstances return to normalcy.

  • Students who are awaiting their visa appointment can try the programme for one month at no risk and after that, if they will have a deferral option if they do not want to study online. Cancellation of the fee will be provided in case a student receives a visa refusal.

  • UE will keep offering lectures on campus in accordance with measures set by the Federal States of Berlin, Hamburg and North-Rhine Westphalia. These plans are subject to change.

  • International students can also start their programme without an entry visa, provided that they have paid a reservation fee.

  • 50% of the classes may be conducted on campus, with all measures in place.

UE Scholarship of Excellence

  • Open to all EU and non-EU applicants

  • Must have an excellent academic record and public engagement.

  • Must have submitted their motivational letter where they need to describe their achievements should qualify for the scholarship.

Application Deadlines:

  • Summer semester: January 31, 12 AM (of the relevant year)

  • Winter semester: July 31, 12 AM (of the relevant year)

Women in STEM-Scholarship

Funded by: University of Applied Sciences Europe

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Should be a female EU or non-EU applicant.

  • Must have an excellent academic record.

  • Must have submitted their motivational letter stating why they want to opt for the programme and what made them choose a career in a male-dominated field. They should describe how the programme of study will affect their career goals and how the scholarship will benefit them.

Application Deadlines:

  • Summer semester: January 31, 12 AM (of the relevant year)

  • Winter semester: July 31, 12 AM (of the relevant year)

Sport Scholarship

Funded by: University of Applied Sciences Europe

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Should be a EU or non-EU applicant taking part in professional sports at national level

  • Must have submitted their motivational letter stating how their sports experience provided them with leadership qualities and how their choice of programme will affect their personal and professional goals.

Application Deadlines:

  • Summer semester: January 31, 12 AM (of the relevant year)

  • Winter semester: July 31, 12 AM (of the relevant year)

Women in Leadership

Funded by: University of Applied Sciences Europe

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Should be a female EU or non-EU applicant who demonstrates leadership potential.

  • Must have submitted their motivational letter stating how their academic record and career success provided them with leadership potential and what is the relevance of their extracurricular activities. They must also mention how their choice of programme will affect their personal and professional goals.

Application Deadlines:

  • Summer semester: January 31, 12 AM (of the relevant year)

  • Winter semester: July 31, 12 AM (of the relevant year)
