The selection for the B.Tech program will be done in two ways:- Category A & Category B

Category A

Under Category A, 70% of the seats of B.Tech program are filled on the basis of EAMCET entrance score. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their rank in the EAMCET entrance exam.

Category B

• Admission into Category B (Management seats-30%) are filled by the Management Quota.
• Candidates will be selected based on the Merit in the qualifying entrance exam. The Merit List for the selected candidates will be prepared for each course on the basis of NRI Status/JEE (Mains)/EAMCET/VCET Ranking in the prescribed group in the qualifying examinations and the name of the selected candidates will be displayed on the official website of the institute and notice board of the college.
• The remaining seats shall be filled on a merit basis which includes the seats of the candidates from other states and union territories who have ranked in JEE (Mains) and have secured minimum 45% marks in the prescribed group in the qualifying examination.

TS ICET is an online-based entrance exam that consists of objective-type questions where the candidates have to complete the exam within 150 minutes.
