The campus of Ambalika Institute of Management & Technology is something to be talked about. It has all the features which are to be present in a premium institute. The campus of this institute is located in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. The campus is spread over an area of 200 acres. It is located near NH-56B. The institute building is surrounded by a lush green field and a beautiful lake. AIMT is just 24 km away from the Lucknow railway station and 20 km away from the airport.

Apart from this, the campus of this institute offers certain amenities which are provided to the students:

Classrooms

AIMT has advanced classrooms which help the students to learn effectively. It is enabled with technological facilities like LCD projectors, OHPs and sound systems. The lecture halls can accommodate up to 80 students at one go. They have wi-fi facilities with an internet speed of 20 Mbps.

College Laboratories

AIMT has advanced college laboratories for the students. No knowledge is considered to be complete without practical application. Therefore the special focus is laid on the infrastructure of the laboratories. The students can use all the latest equipment and instruments available for experimentation. Immense safety measures are maintained in the laboratories. It has been constructed in such a manner that no accident can take place.

College Library

The library of Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology operates on an open access system. The students can borrow books and journals through computerized catalogs. The college library subscribes to at least 75 national and international magazines on engineering, technical and science journals, conference proceedings and transactions.

College Seminar Hall

The institute has a seminar hall which is spread over an area of 3000 square feet. The hall can accommodate at least 200 individuals. It is fully air-conditioned and is suitable for international conferences, symposiums, meetings, seminars, concerts, presentations, and performances.  

Cafeteria

The institute also has a cafeteria which acts as an area of entertainment. It is the place where the students and professors can interact with each other.

Residential Facility

Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology provides hostel and mess facilities to the students. It can accommodate both boys and girls.

Apart from these, the students can avail facilities such as free wifi, medical help, transport, etc.

Objective :

• Aim at bringing out the “technologically best” in students.
• The chief aim of the club is to bring the students out of their Syllabi bound shells and to expose them to the challenges awaiting them in the field of circuit design and hardware analysis.

Vision :
The Electronics hobby Club is a hobby group that will aim to teach and help students understand the seemingly incomprehensible electronic gadgets in the world today, and also assist students in developing their own devices. To this end, various lectures, workshops, projects as well as competitions throughout the year concerning both analog as well as digital electronics will keep the calendar busy and ensure participants continued learning. This is an initiative to fulfill the increasing need of technical knowledge among the students.

In this rapidly moving world, where everyday a new technology comes into existence, it is extremely hard to keep abreast with all the technical know-how, but if our basic concepts are intact then we can aim for the top.

Introduction :
This learning club in the college arranges vivid programs which include students’ campus selection, personality development programs, training for interviews and competitive examinations, industrial training for students, assistance for higher studies in India and abroad, and other career development systems.

Objectives :
The principal objective of the cell is to enhance the professionalism and employ-ability of the students of the college so as to facilitate the achievement of their career goals.

Activities:
This club of the department operates with an active involvement and support of all the staff members and students of the department. The Cell holds periodical meetings to chalk out programs guide their implementation and assess their progress and effectiveness.

Training:
Lack of soft skills among the job aspirants from various places, is pointed out every time. The Cell, therefore, organizes training programs for developing and improving communication skills of the students. They cover areas such as:

The feed-back from the students on these programs is effusive and showed them to be very effective. Training institutions such as NIIT, TIME, Escube Technologies, etc., conducted seminars in the college to inform the students on the training courses they offer in specialist technical fields. The yeoman-job, being done by the Language Laboratory of the college in improving the language skills of the students, is highly appreciated by all.

Looking Ahead

While , it has been a year filled with activities and satisfactory results for the Training and Placement Cell, it goes without saying that much more has to be aimed at. Raising the level of information support for the students, wider exposure to the industry, enthusing more students to take the relevant training courses and inculcating the spirit of entrepreneurship in the campus community are the areas needing further intensity.

ABOUT US
Applied Science & Humanities Club is a non-registered, non-profit organization within the department, AIMT. The members of the club include the faculty members and undergraduate students  of the department working together to help and facilitate the overall development of students. AS&HC provides a platform to showcase and sharpen student’s talents through a variety of events and activities planned throughout the year.

Objective
This club is designed to reinforce the ideals of creating a mass of  its own kind.
Aims to provide the opportunity to express their creativity and entrepreneurial capabilities in the field of engineering, also to provide ideas that lay a positive impact in the growth of India.
This club provides a framework where interested undergrads, individually or as a team creates an ideal persona of an engineer.Laying foundation for overall development of students.
