History- School was first established in 1986 and is the only private hospitality training school of its type in Central Auckland. School focus is purely on food service training. In 1989 AHCTS achieved NZQA accreditation (New Zealand Qualifications Authority). School NZQA accreditation ensures that their standards of education are set high and remain high, this, in turn, ensures thier qualifications are both recognised and respected internationally. Much of their success is attributed to the exceptional dedication and enthusiasm shown by thier tutors. They all currently work within their chosen fields and have a minimum 15 years industry experience. As a result, thier tutorial standards are very high and relevant to today’s industry standards.
