B. B. College is to be proud of its central library – it is unique in itself. The library is enriched with more than 50,000 books, periodicals & current journals. It is the store house of some invaluable materials since time immemorial. It has, at present the Book Bank and Internet facilities; the software cataloguing system etc. Apart from the Day Section library, it has got two separate sections : Morning & Evening. Morning section library opens for the students at 7:00 a.m. on all working days, and the Evening section stops functioning at 6:00 p.m.; in between the two, the day section renders very effective service to the students in general, providing them books and other reading materials for reading room purpose and lending facility. One Honours student can obtain two books at a time for 15 days. Besides, each Science, Arts & Commerce Department is furnished with a very sound seminar library from where Honours students specially get specialised materials like Specific – reference books, disc, question bank etc. The library is trying its best to arrange intra departmental loan and intra college reference books facilities for the students. The P. G. Library of the Deptt. of Physics is the glory of the College. Recently Internet facility (Broad Band BSNL) is available in the Central Library.
