Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) has a campus spread over 305 acres of land. The campus of BIHER has 1.3 crore sq.ft buildings constructed both in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu divided into 6 campuses in total. BIHER, Chennai provides multi-stream, high quality and multi-cultural education to the students coming from different parts of the country.
The campus of Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) has a library which has various books and journals. A total of 1,81,936 documents are available in the form of textbooks, journals, magazines etc. The college library is divided into different sections such as NPTEL, ASCE, EBSCO e.t.c. Through NPTEL, Students can do web and video Courses through digital learning. Lectures and courses are stored in the systems available at the library. Access to the database is also provided to the students.
The availability of the National service Scheme (NSS) and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) at the college provides an opportunity for students for personality development etc.
Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) runs a BIHER Incubation Center (BIC) which helps the students who would like to start up their own business ventures. The centre provides help to students to work on their startups and convert them into profitable and established business ventures. INITCOMM Software Solutions and Big Data Labs Pvt. Ltd. come as a help to students for helping the students for business establishment.
Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) marks its active participation in the sports sector. The college promotes and encourages students to take part in sports events and competitions organised in or outside the campus. The scholarship is provided to students who perform well in those events. BIHER, Chennai provides special coaching for cricket, volleyball, basketball and also offers free yoga training sessions. Equipment of many other indoor and outdoor games such as Chess, Table tennis, Snooker table, Cricket nets, Throw Ball (Women) including a separate gym for Men and Women are available on the college campus of BIHER. The college has 5 hostels (4 boys' hostels and 1 girl's hostel) providing residential facilities to the students on the campus itself. These hostels can accommodate 1470 students on single, double and triple sharing basis. 12 A/C rooms are available in the boys' hostel and 10 A/C rooms in girl's hostel.

NCC Club -
The objective of the National Cadet Corps is to develop character, comradeship, and capacity for leadership among the youth in India. NCC at BIHER motivates the students with best training and the ideals of selfless service. The training inculcates team spirit, a sense of nationalism and it also helps in developing the overall personality of an individual. The BIHER NCC was started in 1996 as a Independent Company. The first and the second year students are enrolled for a duration of three years. NCC parades are regularly conducted in BIST Ground on every Saturday from 7.00 to 11.00 AM as per Parade Schedule. Pre-parade meeting is also conducted in front of the NCC Office on every Friday from 4.30 to 5.30 PM
The NCC cadets actively participate in the Independence Day and Republic Day celebration in the campus. Annual Training Camp, Republic Day Camp (RDC - New Delhi), Inter Group Competitions (IGC), National Integration Camp (NIC) and special camps like Trekking Camp, Firing Camp are held periodically.
The NCC unit at BIHER is functioning under the guidance of Associate NCC Officer - Lt Dr. R. Udayakumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology who has completed the Direct Commission Refresher Course which is conducted for NCC officers in Officer Training Academy.
