The library is the backbone of every civilized society & heart of every teaching or learning organization. It should be richly equipped with Books, Journals & Magazines and it is necessary to update it from time to time.D.A.V. College has a well stocked library. The library at D.A.V. College has a large number of Text Books, Journals, Magazines & Periodicals. There are around 50,000 books in the library. The Library Automation is in progress. The library has a big Reading Hall in which around 100 Students can sit at a time. The library remains open on all working days from 09:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M.. These library hours are extended during the examinations or as per requirement.A Digital Library is planned where students can use the internet to access a large number of e-books & e-journals of their interest. The staff of the library is very efficient & co-operative.
