The rooms are thoroughly ventilated, elegant, spacious & cozy. Ample Security arrangements available for protecting the students from any unwanted incident. The Hostel Warden cum Counselors interact with the students regularly & solve their intractable problems on priority. To further enhance the problem solving Head of institute interacts on regular basis with Hostel Students. We are the first one in the region to have students from other countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh & Afghanistan etc. and all are residing in the hostel with a feeling of Home. The Boys hostel has the capacity of about 400 Boys (Extendable up to 450) whereas the girls’ hostel can accommodate approx 100 girls. Integrity in Diversity is what we can see in campus during evening hours when students are in ground playing with each other as a team. Such a blend of different cultures provides an opportunity for our students to work and adjust in the multicultural environment which is a mandatory requirement to achieve success in today’s world of Globalization.

Wi-Fi Campus

GEC campus is supported round the clock by Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi) of 32 Mbps which covers each and every corner of the campus including hostels (boys/ girls).Understanding the importance of Internet in Today’s academics and taking into consideration the support it provides to our students who are from outside India (In maintaining the regular communication with their families at Home) 24 Hrs. Wi-Fi facility is provided in campus.

E-Classrooms

Classes are equipped with ultra-modern teaching aids such as Projector/ LED Screen/ Computers with Internet facility enabled with facility of External Media such as Wi-Fi, Pen Drive, HDMI connectivity etc. Students are taught using portals such as Swayam, NPTEL as well The simulated teaching software helps the student to understand the process in a highly visualized form.

 E-Libraries & Journals

The concept of libraries has revolutionized human creative thinking and mankind has witnessed a sea change in the standard of living as books preserve archival materials and historical records for the coming generation. We are a part of an information age and libraries should be situated in a dynamic information environment to provide in-depth knowledge to their users. The library, as the resource gateway through which people disseminate and share information, needs to redefine and re-emphasize what is essential to its professional practice in the digital age.

GEC consists of a central library and also has several departmental libraries. Centralized on user services, the library makes every effort to provide an enjoyable learning environment for users. This system enables the library to open for extended hours and connects the users with Digital, Virtual Reference & Referral Services, Mobile Services, Digital Resources, Internet communications, Reprography Services, Book Bank Service & Inter-Library Loan.

Internet Cafe

The computer center of GEC is completely connected with excellent Wi-Fi network and serves as a backbone network for the labs of the entire campus. It has advanced IT facilities with adequate systems loaded with licensed Operating Systems and Software Packages. The network infrastructure is being served by Lenovo Servers, Servers including Domain Controllers, DNS Servers, Mail Server, Proxy Server, Database Server and Print Server. The power infrastructure is supported with heavy duty uninterrupted power supply for all systems and servers to avoid data loss.

The internet facility at GEC is one of its prominent features. The entire campus has a broadband internet connection. Fast internet connectivity plays an important role in facilitating the academic as well as research and development activities for the faculty and students at the institute. Members of the GEC family can access the internet round the clock in the campus. The campus is equipped with the latest multimedia facilities like electronic smart boards, language lab, multimedia LCD projectors, overhead projectors, scanners, DVD writers, laser printers, digital cameras etc.

Open Air Theatre

An Open Air Theatre is located centrally to encourage students for co-curricular activities, hostel events and festive celebrations etc.

Sports

The infrastructures for sports at GEC – Basketball Court, Football Ground, Volleyball court, Badminton court and many indoor games such as Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess etc are provided for overall development of students. Understanding the importance of sports for the students, the GEC administration is committed to providing plenty of opportunities for students to participate in sports as well as other extracurricular activities.Annual Sports Meet is held annually in the college premises where all students are encouraged to participate.

Gymnasium

In its efforts to make India healthy GEC has participated in many government programs as well such as “Rahgiri” whose main agenda is “Mera Panipat Fit Panipat”. To inculcate this culture of fitness GEC provides well equipped Gymnasium in its campus with fitness trainer availability during evening hours as well. Various modern fitness equipments available in campus with additions every year as per requirements and suggestions from fitness trainers.

Stationery Shop

To facilitate student needs, the college has an in house stationery store. The student-friendly store meets the customized needs of all students such as Photocopying, Printing facilities, Stationary, recharges, Utilities of daily use etc.Text books, reference books, journals, laboratory manuals and other necessary equipment for experimental sessions are easily accessible to the students. All stationery items and services are made available in the stores at reasonable rates, which are decided after discussion with college authorities.

Transportation Facility

The Institute provides exclusive transport facility from Delhi, Panipat, Karnal, Sonipat, Jind, Saffidon, Shamli, Karana, Gohana and adjoining areas. It has its own fleet of AC Buses in the Institute.

Medical Facility

The institution takes extreme care of the health of the students. The institution offers the free medical facility to all students and staff. Medical facilities are provided to the staff and students through the Medical Room i.e. located within the campus. Medical officer is available for Day scholars as well as Hostellers.The institute provides Medicare facilities to the students and its employees. A Medical Room is set up for the use of patients in GEC Campus. The Institute has its own dispensary, stock of medicines and other basic facilities with a qualified staff for the regular health care of students and staff. First-aid boxes are also provided at appropriately all important locations including Buses, Hostels, Reception, Gymnasium etc.

ATM Facility

Punjab National Bank which is a government Bank is providing Automated Teller Machines (ATM) facility for the convenience of the staff and students to provide them access to easy money from their accounts.ATM cards are issued so that money may be withdrawn from the accounts anytime. The faculty, staff and students may use their ATM cards of any other bank of India as well for the same purpose. Various schemes like student’s Educational Loan etc. are also provided by this bank. Net Banking facility is also available to cater to the monetary transactions at any time to the GECians.
