GRIET Campus

The Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology provides high-tech facilities for the students. Some of the major facilities are well-equipped computer labs, with all necessary equipment to support skill development. The library and information centre of the Institute provide the main source for individual research at GRIET. Sports and games facility, open-air gallery for student recreation has been constructed which has the capacity for 2000 spectators; well-developed basketball court, volleyball courts and throw ball courts; transport facilities to students. The college also has the publication journal named ‘Management today’ that relates to entrepreneurship, accounts, finance, economics, mass communications, etc.

Entrepreneurship Club -

The objective of our EDC unit is to promote entrepreneurship among the youth and to nurture a passion for self-employment. This will open gates for creation of new knowledge-based innovative hi-tech ventures, industries and new breed of technopreneurs and more avenues of employment opportunities thus turning job seekers into job creators and in the process, leading the nation towards industrial excellence and self-reliance.


Literary Club -

Spirals is a Literature Club at GRIET that commits to the over-all personality development of students in order to cope up with the ever changing corporate culture without losing the values and inculcates all the required skills to maintain an edge and a lead.


Electronics Club -

Activity:

The project initiated at the start of the 1st sem for the 4th years of IT department had commenced with 6 people forming a group under the guidance of Asst. Prof P.K.Abhilash with an intention of utilizing the field of Robotics in way that it would benefit the College and its students by showing the use of robotics in different branches of engineering. Robotics was chosen due to the immense amount of usage with regard to making the day to day life of a human better.
As this team progressed and started to promote the usage, benefits, applications of robotics in different fields it caught the attention of many such students who were interested to join the Robotics Club and it soon grew to become a 12 member
club. As the sessions were being delivered on the different aspects of robotics, the students had a fair idea of how and where can robotics be used across different platforms. The group also worked on few special robots which would help the
functionality of the department.

Programming Club -

About:

GRIET CODE is a coding club which has been started by the students of Computer science Department by taking an initiative to encourage and enhance the coding skills in the students. We conduct coding events all over the campus for every 2 weeks. Every one whose has knack for coding can participate in the events.

Objectives of club:

The main objective of the club is to increase the interest for the students in coding and to make students to increase their coding skills step by step by exposing them to a different variety of questions and making them aware of how coding will help them in different scenarios in their future as programing professionals.

Activities of club:

  • Online and Offline coding contests
  • Workshops on Technical concepts like Artificial Intelligence, 7th sense technology, Cryptography, Information security.
  • Promote the social contact between the programmers.

Gamers Club -
Quiz Club -

This group aims to provide a platform to concentrate on facts and figures and spontaneity in this competitive world through quiz programmes.


Computer Hardware and Software Club -

This group conducts periodic contests mainly in the software area

The latent talents of the students in the realm of music and dance are brought out through periodic competitions and stage shows.

At both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering & Technology offers 2 courses to interested candidates. The duration of the UG courses is 4 years and the duration of the PG courses is 2 years. BTech course is offered in the specialisation of Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and more. TS EAMCET entrance exam is accepted by the institute for BTech admission. As per the GRIET Hyderabad cutoff 2023 for round 1, 4196 was the closing rank for general category for CSE course. There are very high chances for you to get a seat in CSE course at the institute.

GRIET Hyderabad offers a total of 2 courses in various specialisations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The duration of the B.Tech courses is 4 years and the duration of M.Tech courses is 2 years. To become eligible for the B.Tech course, candidates must have qualified in TS EAMCET entrance exam and for M.Tech course, GATE or TS PGECET entrance exams are accepted by the institute. The TS EAMCET cutoff 2023 has not been released yet, but previous year's cutoff can be used for consideration. The GRIET TS EAMCET cutoff 2022 for general category in the last round was 10884 for the ECE category. With your rank, it will be difficult to get seat in the ECE branch at the institute.
