IIGJ Delhi Campus

The campus of the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Delhi spanned over a wide area of 9000 Sq ft. There are equipped gemology labs with state-of-the-art equipment and a wide range of specimens. The workshops and machine rooms at IIGJ are fully equipped to accommodate most hands-on metalsmithing and jewellery making practices. The institute boasts of well-equipped manufacturing facilities up to date with the latest technology in the industry. Laser welder and Laser marking, engraving and cutting are other states of art facilities available at the institute.

There are spacious Design Rooms for theory and design lectures providing a relaxed working atmosphere. The Lectures are supported by modern audio-visual teaching facilities. The institute has CAD labs with an overall capacity of 15 computer stations with all licensed 3D design software. The Computers are well configured suitable for the use of latest Design Softwares. The Library is open to all the students for research and documentation. It includes a range of the latest magazines, books from tribal to modern western-style jewellery and gemstones, as well as books about general design subjects e.g. Architecture, Textile, Industrial design and a variety of books on Gemology.

Dear student, 

For admission in the Diploma in Gemmology course offered by Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Delhi, there is no entrance exam. The institute provides admission on merit basis. You have passed Class 12 from a recognised board to be eligible for admission. The duration of the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Diploma in Gemmology course is six months and it is offered in full-time mode. After completion of the course you can work as a diamond grader, gemologist etc. The institute provide scholarships to students whose family income is less than Rs 3 LPA.
