JEC Campus

The college is situated at Jeppiaar Nagar on Rajiv Gandhi salai, Chennai in an area of 48 acres. The college provides advanced teaching facilities and excellent placement. The college structure is represented through modern architecture, giving the precinct a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere.

   The infrastructure also includes a state of art air-conditioned computer laboratory with servers and internet facilities. Work stations have welding and smithy equipments that provide hands on experience to our engineering students. Apart from this, each department has its own discipline based laboratories for study and research.

JEC Hostel & Fees Structure

The Student Hostels are designed and built keeping in mind the main aspects of comfortable lifestyle. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Spacious rooms with attached bath are available in both the hostels. A spacious and modern kitchen with steam cooking caters to the appetites of hostel residents, serving deliciously healthy and nutritious food. Special care is taken to maintain strict hygienic condition.

  • Visitors for hostellers - only parents and local guardian(s) will be allowed

  • Mini super market (Timings 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM) with necessary items for hostellers.

Students Activities & Clubs

NCC Club -

 National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.) Naval Wing was started in our college on 17th September 2003, in the presence of Commander, B.V. Ramakrishna and is functioning successfully under the excellent guidance of our Founder Chairman Colonel Dr. Jeppiaar M.A, B.L, Ph.D. and energetic Director Mrs. Regeena. J. Murli, B. Tech., MBA., (PhD).
   The strength of NCC division is 50 cadets, including 15 girl cadets. Every year, 20 parades are conducted, each parade consisting of 6 periods ( i.e) 4 hours. Petty officers from 4 (T.N) Naval Tech Unit train and infuse great enthusiasm in our cadets.


Yoga Club -

This project involved Jeppiaar Engineering college Rotaract students, volunteered by management of Jeppiaar Engineering College. A Free medical camp was organized by the JEPPIAAR ROTARACT CLUB for the benefit of village people in the Government High school at the Manapathy Village near Thiruporur. The Rotary Club of Madras was inaugurated on 10th May 1929 and Chartered on 19th July 1929, making it the first Rotary Club in South India . Over the years, leading luminaries from various businesses, professions & vocations have been Members of the Rotary Club of Madras. Guided by the theme, "Service above Self", the Club is credited with pioneering work in the area of eradicating Red Measles and with the Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme, adopted by Rotary International which is now called Polio Plus.. In a year we conduct more than 20 Plus medical camps. In this medical camp the following disciplines are examined. 1. Eye 2. Dental 3. General practitioners. 4. Paediatrics Complete medicines , Spectacles, and examination conducted on the above disciplines
